"Went there expecting my normal good dining experience. However, we got there and was seated immediately but noticed not many customers there. Once seated we realized that it was pretty warm in the restaurant. It was very hot and humid outside. I asked our waitress about air conditioning. She told us the air conditioner is broken and has been for over a month. They had floor fans blowing in a few different locations. She moved us to a table that had a fan blowing on it so we stayed and ordered food. The service was just ok and the food was just ok also. We dined there previously and had better dining experiences then. This time it was different. The mere fact that they have not fixed the air conditioning in over a month, shows that they don’t care much about both their customers and their employees."

"Good experience. Drinks were amazing. I had the Mango Chile margarita and my husband had the Mezcal Margarita. Service was great. We had a very friendly, helpful waiter. Food was good. We got the guacamole to go with our chips and salsa. There is a choice of mild, medium and spicy. We like spicy so went with that. It was good. Then we ordered the camarones diablos for appetizer. Very good. My husband and I shared the Parrillada plate of grilled meats for our meal. The chorizo was a highlight. And the stuffed jalapeño that came with it. It was also steak and chicken and came with rice and beans and tortillas. It was good and we were stuffed. Finished it off with a delicious Mexican coffee! I was so full I could barely finish it. The music was a little too loud and definitely not my taste. More of a club type of vibe. it is very big and there is a lot of seating and we arrived early for our reservation and they seated us right away. It's a nice night out and we didn't feel rushed. Will definitely go back."

"The food was very good, and the restaurant was very aesthetically appealing. However, the service was very slow. We were seated for 25 minutes with no water provided. Waiter was definitely overworked, which made it difficult for him to be attentive to us. Our food was slow to come. Some things were not delivered at all with reminders. It was very warm in the restaurant."

"I made reservations through open table. We arrived and the hostess found my reservation and gave us the option to eat outside which we took. They asked us to give them a few minutes. We sat and waited. We were asked three more times including by the same girl who originally took us in who we were and if we had a reservation. Then the options started over. I pointed out that we had been through this already then we were then seated outside. Waiter was good and friendly. He gave us some recommendations which we took. Guacamole w/ lump crabmeat turned out to be the equivalent of one claw diced to oblivion. You could smell it but could barely see it or taste it. My wife ordered 2 margaritas during her meal. The first was good. The second was nearly or possibly alcohol free. The fajitas were good, but portions were small. The menus were raggedy. Falling apart and had food remnants on them."

"Everything was great until we tried to eat the Baja fish taco and realized it was raw. Thankfully I cut it in half first or I would’ve eaten raw fish, which I definitely shouldnt while pregnant. When we told the waitress she acted like it wasn’t a big deal. We eventually got a new one once we were done with everything else, it was just ok. The waitress did take the taco off the bill, which was nice since we hadn’t asked. The margarita my husband got wasn’t great. I would go back but would definitely make sure to check that everything is properly cooked before eating."

"The restaurant is beautiful. Our waiter Allen was very attentive and hands on. Our food took forever to come out but Allen kept checking in and my friend and I were playing catch up that we barely noticed. My nachos were about 40% scorched which was unappetizing. My Mango Margarita was so-so and the shrimp tacos was mediocre. I honestly never come here because the food is overly amazing. I come here to catch up with old friends when you want a setting that is not crowded, you can hear yourself think and the bill isn’t astronomical."

"this place is decent when they really have a few Mexican foods, but it is not always consistent and the device give some people a headache. also there are some places in the restaurant where the ceiling fans flash the lights so that not everyone table in the restaurant is somewhere they want to sit. eating itself is typical Mexican eating as it stands out in most restaurants with nothing special and nothing. the service is usually quite good."

"Food was good. Service by bartender was great; however the male host and one of the male servers were RUDE! Literally sat our party in an area that had not been cleaned! When asked to move, they ignored us so we moved ourselves to the bar. Upon exiting the dining room, the male server proceeds to ignorantly pester us with a “..goodbye, have a good evening…”; repeating until one of my friends acknowledged and said “…see you soon…”. Absolutely disgusting behavior for restaurant staff. No one in our group was rude or behaved badly. For a “first experience”, not good, but made much better by the bartender…she was awesome!"

"The michelada mix was one of the best we’ve ever had. The chips and salsa may seem like a simple appetizer, but I have to mention them because the heat from the chili builds pleasantly on the back of your palate. The variety of chilaquiles options made me feel like a kid in a candy store. The quality of the food was excellent. My family and I don't typically eat Tex-Mex, as my wife is a second-generation from Jalisco, Mexico, and can be quite critical of authentic Mexican cuisine. However, she loved everything, especially her barbacoa tacos. As long as the quality remains consistent, we will definitely be coming back."

"omg, I love this place. Originally we went for the menudo since they had a really good one, but they don't sell it anymore. So we decided to have a little brunch. we ordered cafe de olla, which is not in the menu, but they can ask for it (they have simple and with zinammon, I decided for the zinammon and it is really good.) also asked for a latte that was also very good. to eat we decided to go for the salmon avocado toast (the brot is amazingly good, the avocado lacked some salt and pepper, but they can add that to taste when it is served, it also comes with a fender that makes the perfect combination with the salmon.) also went for the salmon benny’s, which is also well served inais veeery that is the perfect combination with the salmon. both dishes come with spiced potato and an salad, so it feels definitiw as a ballance meal."

"The waitress was very nice. The food was decent. The burrito was too basic. The shaved headed manager was fairly rude to my husband. The manager was unsuccessfully trying to start a fire in the fireplace and it was very smoky. My husband mentioned it to him, because I was pretty bad asthma. He was very rude to my husband. They did open the doors and it helped. I probably won’t come back though."

"In a group of four, only two people enjoyed their meals, and that was because they both ordered the fish tacos. I chose the Acapulco chicken while the other person ordered the redfish. Unfortunately, both dishes had clearly been under heat lamps for too long; the skin had formed an unpleasant layer and the food was cold. The service was so lackluster that we decided to eat a little and leave rather than wait for new dishes to be brought out. This was our second visit to Las Alamedas, and both experiences have been disappointing. Given the numerous restaurant options in Katy and Houston, there are far better choices that should keep this establishment from staying in business for much longer. I recommend saving your calories, time, and money by dining elsewhere."

"This restaurant has received good reviews, but my experience was quite the opposite. The place was unclean, with tables that weren't wiped down and a counter that resembled a storage area for dirty dishes. Flies were buzzing around the dining area due to the neglected plates sitting out. We were invited by a relative, so we felt obligated to stay, but I definitely won't be returning or recommending this place to anyone. The food was bland; the beans and rice tasted as if they had been reheated multiple times. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience, and I can't help but wonder if they compensate people for those positive reviews. In my opinion, this is not a good restaurant."

"I recently moved to NYC from California and have been searching for authentic Mexican food. While I haven't quite found exactly what I'm looking for yet, Pink's is pretty close. I am very picky when it comes to food, but I'm sure I will return to try another dish. The guacamole appetizer with chips and salsa was amazing, but the tacos I had were a bit bland for my taste. "The menu was interesting and they are clearly trying to re invent standard Mexican dishes. Our party of five enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio; the music in the dining room was too loud for us to hear each other. The cocktails lacked flavor. Two entrees arrived under room temperature too cool. The Carnitas were dry and stringy; my Enchiladas Rojas were spicy hot but lacking in complexity of flavor. It was disappointing."

"The customer service was good. I ordered a combo meal of Spanish Rice, Refried Beans, a Taco, Chili Relleno a enchilada. While waiting for my order I decided to get myself a blended Margarita. Might I say..the Margarita was made to perfection! Quite delicious with a nice kick! When I recieved my meal order I quickly finished my Margarita walked back to my hotel room to eat. I must say..everything was cooked to perfection! The Chili Relleno was fluffy with just the right amount of cheese sauce. The Taco..crispy very filling. The enchilada..perfect. The Rice Beans..delicious..altho I wish they'd given a larger portion. I was quite pleased with my meal. I will definitely be going back! "

"We loved the pupusas! There's nowhere else in Gilroy that we know of where we can find them regularly, so this is now our favorite pupusa spot. We weren't very hungry, but we couldn't resist trying them."
