"We finally had the chance to enjoy lunch here, and it was absolutely worth the wait. The rich nostalgia and history added an extra layer of charm, especially since this place has been around since 1944. We loved browsing through the old photographs adorning the walls. The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming. Since everything is made to order, the service might not be as quick as some places, but that just adds to the experience. They even refry their beans, which is a nice touch. We were seated at the classic lunch counter, where it was a treat to watch the chefs prepare our meals. I had a delicious combo, and while we were waiting, I noticed someone ordering fried chicken, French fries, and cheeseburgers. Now we’re definitely planning to return to try those! In the back, there’s a spacious full-service bar and a large banquet room. We highly recommend this wonderful old restaurant, but be sure to call ahead to confirm their hours, as they sometimes close early when it's not busy. We’re looking forward to becoming regulars here!"
