"We celebrated our anniversary dinner with our two children, ages 8 and 10. Choosing to dine on the porch on a muggy June evening, we were greeted by a pleasant breeze from the ceiling fans. Unlike many overly air-conditioned restaurants, Metro 8 had a comfortable temperature upon arrival - a major plus for us! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, yet not intrusive. She made a comment about our children reading books (and discussing math) instead of using iPads, which we appreciated. The steaks my husband and I ordered were exactly as described and delicious. The sides were also tasty. Our daughters enjoyed their grilled chicken. The cocktails were well-made and had the perfect amount of strength. We highly recommend this restaurant."
