"We waited several months to try this restaurant to let the initial excitement die down. We arrived on a Saturday around 7:45 PM, which is still dinner time, only to find out they were closing at 8 PM. It's quite unusual for a restaurant to close so early on a weekend, but they did seat us. The servers were friendly, and the place was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the food was just mediocre at best. The ground beef was bland—honestly, Taco Bell serves better taco meat. The salsa had no heat whatsoever; it tasted more like tomato sauce with onions. There were no hot sauce bottles on the tables, and I found it difficult to get anyone's attention to ask for some or to get drink refills, even though two staff members were moving around the restaurant but seemed oblivious to the customers. We won’t be returning, which is disappointing. However, Pahrump has plenty of Mexican restaurants, some of which are very good, so we’d rather spend our $50 at the better places!"
