"Was out of town for the weekend and looking for a place to eat before it went home. Pickles stopped in a mood and was not disappointed at all. The food was great. Had an amazing turkey sandwich on a delicious croissant with sweet potato friries. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. Thank you for a great experience. "I shop at Western Bagel quite often at different locations for my job and meeting.....I called this location to place an order for pickup in the early morning to make is easy so things can be ready...I confirmed the price and asked about the amount of cream cheese for my order....I was told that it comes with two (2) big tubs and I asked if I can take two (2) small ones with different flavors and I was told yes. I arrived in the morning to pick up my order and I asked for the cream cheese and I was surprised to hear that there is additional charge for that furthermore the price I was given over the phone is a week day price and the girl that took my order made a mistake....after a few minutes of going back and forth with the guy at the counter the girl that took my call and placed the order came out and said I took your order I made a mistake and there is nothing I can do about it and she processed out of the store and walked in to the Starbucks next door as if I don't care what happens.....I ended up paying a lot more than I was told and I had to pay additional for the cream cheese....the staff did not care at all about customer service.....never again will I go in to that store!"

"We are regulars at this shop. Such friendly workers. We are always greeted and thanked when we leave. They are also pretty quick if you are in a hurry. The selection of bagels is my favorite. I love the onion bagel, egg bagel, sourdough bagel and the cinnamon crunch is unexpectedly amazing.Today we ordered a egg bagel with cream cream and a onion bagel double toasted with cream cheese.The store is always clean and the bagels are always fresh and stocked."

"Haven 't been to this location but used to go to the one on Sepulveda years ago when we lived walking distance from it! Finally got the chance to check this location out a few days ago and probably went at a perfect time. I overheard some of the other customers talking about how the line usually wraps around to the end of the room where the restrooms are. Luckily we were second in line when we got there and already knew what we wanted. I noticed their list of coffee brews for the day and asked the young worker about the Hawaiian hazelnut and if it had macadamia in it or what made it Hawaiian and he had no clue and had to ask someone in the back. He came out still confused and proceeded to just tell me it had macadamia probably to get me off his case. I ordered it iced anyway just to try it and ordered my Egg-Ala-Bagel in a Jalapeño Cheese Everything Bagel. My bf got a wheat bagel with some kind of berry cream cheese and hash brown and we took our order home to enjoy. Perfectly wrapped in foil to keep it warm, and even sliced in half already! I love that I didn 't have to ask because I usually forget to, especially if I 'm on the road. Super delicious! I 'm terrible with spice but I think the jalapeños give it that nice, extra flavor that 's needed. Honestly wish I could add extra Everything Bagel Seasoning but it was super delicious and would love to come back more often to try their other stuff. IG: @ammysalamii"

"The bagels here are disappointing. I can find better ones in the freezer section at Ralphs. I might sound like a New York snob, but these bagels were truly awful. The best bagel I've had in Los Angeles so far is from Brooklyn Water Bagels, and I can't emphasize enough how overrated Western Bagel is."

"So good I had to write a reviewOrdered a bacon egg n cheese on a jalapeño n cheese bagel with onion cream cheese and it was amaaaziinng!!!! Fresh, delicate, and generous with the cream cheese just how I like it perfection. "The meal was satisfactory, but not worth the high price. I ordered a plain cream cheese and lox bagel which cost $23. I would recommend skipping the capers as the lox itself is already quite salty. The abundance of capers in the dish only adds to the saltiness, necessitating the need to remove them and drink water."

"Yes, there are many locations for Western Bagel. This one is excellent and yet I rarely go there despite being six minutes away. But I ordered via Door Dash the other day three sesame, three onion and they arrived about twenty minutes later and were really fresh as if they'd just been made, which is, of course, as it should be. I had two with cream cheese and two with tuna and my mouth was happy. I do read with some amusement how no LA bagel can compare to a NY bagel well, I've had both and I've never understood the praise for NY bagels as if they were the living end. I've had fine bagels in NY and fine bagels here. Funny how that works, bagel wise. In the meantime, you can't really go wrong with Western Bagel."

"As a devoted bagel enthusiast who has lived in the valley for many years, I finally decided to give Western Bagels a try, despite having never done so before. Until now, I'd only had their bagels from grocery store packages or picked them up at local donut shops and Starbucks. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious these bagels are, especially with the wide variety of cream cheeses available! I chose a jalapeño cheese bagel topped with onion cream cheese, and it was simply amazing. If I had to be picky, I’d say there was a little too much cream cheese, but that's honestly a minor concern. The bagel was toasty and fresh, and the cream cheese was incredibly tasty. I visited on a Monday morning around 11 AM, and the place wasn't very crowded. My order was ready in under ten minutes. The green onions in the onion cream cheese were fantastic! I’m absolutely in love with these bagels and plan to return time and again. Next time, I’ll definitely explore more flavors of bagels and cream cheeses!"
