"I regret having to write such a negative review, but despite understanding that the restaurant was operating with minimal staff, the lack of planning was evident. We waited for an hour without receiving our food and there was no communication from the staff. The only reason I found out what was happening was because I had to get up from our table and approach the bar myself to ask for updates, and I ended up getting our drinks refilled that way."

"Ordered two party sandwich platters. Specifically told them what sandwiches we wanted and qty, 5 of each on two trays. 30 total. Got my invoice via email and called with CC info to pay, to find later a higher amount charged to my account. When called I was told the reason was b c they didn't do platters in increments of 5 sandwiches, only in 3's. Which would have been fine had I been told that when I placed the order or simply if someone called when making them to ask me toremove or add sandwiches to the order and give me a new price. Rather than that they charged me more with out telling me or asking permission to do so. Sandwiches are good, but even with out the over charge change of qty WAYoverpriced. I emailed back and forth numerous times for an explanation and a credit to my account. I got the explanation but NOTHING as far as a credit. It's not the point that it was only an extra $35 charged, its the principal of it."

"I ordered the BBQ chicken, which consisted of sliced chicken breast that had been deep-fried without breading. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite dry and was only topped with a small drizzle of BBQ sauce. As for the 'Caesar' salad, it was just a small serving of Romaine lettuce with three croutons and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Not impressed."

"I have heard good things about this place so I went in with high hopes......... Boy was I disappointed. I ordered the shrimp platter with hush puppies and a twice baked potato the wife ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. After waiting a full hour for our food to arrive. The shrimp were tough, overdone, and flavorless. The twice baked potato was DRYYYY. I never received my hush puppies although I asked about them 3 times. My wifes chicken sandwich was dry as all could be as well as overdone. The service was terrible I have never had to ask for utensils and napkins after receiving my food. When you eat somewhere with higher prices you usually expect a bit better than McDonalds sad to say I would have been better off going their."

"From the time we entered the restaurant we were treated with such great hospitality. The servers are very knowledgeable able about the menu and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled quite a bit trying different foods. Location and view from our table was beautiful. I was here for my year anniversary and they went out of the way to give us a card and some truffles for our special occasion! Definitely will be coming back to The Chop House soon! Keep up the great work"

"I had an incredible meal last night for takeout. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious even after sitting for a few minutes at home. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. The margaritas were especially delicious, and I appreciated that they could be ordered to go. "We ordered sandwiches without lettuce, as we can't eat it, but when we got home, both sandwiches had lettuce. When we called the restaurant, they said they would replace them, but when we went to pick up the replacements, they refused to do so. The food is usually good at this place, but the service and customer relations are lacking and leave much to be desired."

"I stopped to get some food on my way home from a doctors appointment ordered a pork plate and stew. I got five little pieces of meat , a piece of bread and my stew. I called back, was told they don’t offered pulled pork so I was given slices of pork and no sides. I was told next time I was in the area I could get my sides. But what good does that do me today when I’m half way home I live an hour away) and I’m out $25. This is the first and last time I will ever ever stop here. Absolutely awful experience and ruined my WHOLE day"
