"I really wanted to enjoy Hashi Japanese Kitchen Watauga, but unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. I ordered four sushi rolls, miso soup, gyoza, and a tempura appetizer. The tempura was hard and overcooked, and no dipping sauce was offered. The shrimp had an odd smell, and the sushi tasted stale—especially the tuna, which was so off that I couldn’t finish the first piece and had to throw it away to avoid getting sick. I also tried the specialty roll recommended by the staff, but it was just as disappointing. The miso soup was thin and watery, almost like it had been overly diluted. Overall, the food lacked seasoning, and neither the fish nor the shrimp tasted fresh. It felt as if the seafood had been left out all day or was simply outdated. This is very disappointing for a sushi restaurant. I had hoped for a good meal, but this is not the place, especially near closing time on a Saturday night. To make matters worse, both my husband and I suffered terrible stomach aches afterward, making the following morning miserable. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant."
