"I love love LOVE this place. I always rate it stars and if I could, I would rate it higher. The only issue this time was that I made a reservation for and they sat us against a wall where the kitchen was close and had no view of the singer. When we asked to be moved, it seemed to be a problem. Listen, I'm a bit spoiled to having a better table and thought since I made a reservation I would get a better table, which wasn't the case. This will not stop me from coming here or recommending it. I highly recommend and highly recommend asking for a both or table more central."

"We visited as a party of two and initially ordered the all-you-can-eat crab legs. Unfortunately, they were not only unappetizing, but also had black spots on them. Disappointed, we switched to shrimp and fish instead. Later that night, both of us felt sick and had trouble sleeping; we experienced stomach pain throughout the night and the next day, which we suspect was due to foodborne illness. I reached out to the restaurant twice to raise concerns about their kitchen practices, but received no response. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place. Instead, consider Brennan's Fish House directly across the street. It may be pricier, but their food is consistently good and safe to eat. Food Rating: 1."

"I've never been disappointed by a family owned and local source? Restaurant. This place obviously lacks in many areas from organization to food to poorly trained staff and the worst of all General Manager. If this place will serve mediocre food at a fine dining room price, they should at least take some pride in the taste and presentation of their entrees. I don't know how she's having the store of $45 for a pizza that comes over hard boiled and sloppy. The noise in this place is ineffective, I know it? a big restaurant, but it wasn't even the volume of guests who bothered, it was the food runner who like a hyenas every time she laughed. I think the worst part of our entire experience here tried to talk to the General Manager. She lacked personality and rhythm. Talking to her about our problems was completely pointless and she is the main reason why we will never return. I thought you'd have to have respect and care for customers to run a restaurant, but it's obvious here that you don't. From reading other reviews I saw that she previously served pizza from the ground and I was horrified to hear that someone who would do such a cruel thing would lead the restaurant. Whoever shames her boss would be embarrassing to have an employee, let alone a manager like her. It is obvious that money comes first and good customer service and quality food comes last."

"Fish is very good but Manhattan prices. Server brought out some bread with butter. Ordered the broiled halibut dinner and broiled Cod Dinner, one iced tea and one water. Both were cooked perfectly, with basic steamed broccoli and baked sweet potato on side. Would give this place 4 stars had it not been for the price $83.00 and add in a tip and we at about $100. If the meals came with some sort of spectacular sides or the place overlooked the water and had fantastic atmosphere or something I could justify the price, but this place is a standard fish market with some tables in it. My next $100 meal is gonna be somewhere else. I'd would go back for the fish market to buy fish to cook at home ."

"We absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the staff was really friendly. You can enjoy your meal inside or outside, weather permitting. It's accessible by boat, which is a nice option in the warmer months. Our group of seven tried a variety of dishes, and everything was tasty! They have a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at great prices. We've definitely found our new favorite spot in the area!"

"It was a nice dinner, table was ready when we arrived with a nice view. Rolls and butter/oil and waters already on table, waitress was quick and new the items. App and meals looked and tasted good, one salad was a little low on contents but the waitress fixed quickly. Only complaint was the deck was a little hot and air was stagnant, could have used a couple more fans to help but that was a minor issue. This was our second time and will return. It’s a nice spot and worth a visit. Thanks"

"In this restaurant, you order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table, while drinks are served at the bar. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her crab cakes, which were flavorful, moist, and packed with crab meat. I opted for the blackened Redfish filet, which was excellent, accompanied by a loaded baked potato and a fresh house salad. My wife also enjoyed the Jumbo Shrimp Dinner. Most complete dinner plates are priced around $20, and there are many combinations to choose from. All of our meals were delicious, with generous portions and very fresh ingredients. Even during peak hours, the restroom was clean and well-maintained. The restaurant has a great relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful downtown location, making it perfect for a stroll before or after dinner. There are several parking lots available nearby, which is highly recommended."

"Ordered pork fried rice, wonton soup and hunan beef from this place last night let's just say, there was no need to get soy sauce packets I think they used an entire cup on my rice honestly, the rice was almost black due to the amount of sauce used. The wonton soup had no flavor and I think the broth on the soup was actually watered down almost clear. The lady at the register was extremely rude when I gave her my name and she noted that was not right. Just flat out rude. Also, when you enter this establishment, they have tables that keep you from going directly to the counter to herd you in like cattle. I will not return EVER.Also, I just noticed that they charged me an extra fee of $1.98 with no other explanation. Also, the receipt showed up noting a charge in GA."

"It's been a while since we've stopped by this location, and we don't know why. The location has plenty of seating. It's very clean. The food and service are overall pretty good. "Absolutely shameful service, my son took his girlfriend to Table24 for Homecoming. After talking with them they said the food was amazing, but the service was absolutely terrible. They told me how the waitress with a lot of tattoos (so you know who it is) took our order for an appetizer and disappeared, then after a long wait finally came back with it and disappeared again. Then they had to wait again to order their food. They had to ask a waiter for more water and tea because their waitress never came back. I asked if it was real busy and my son said not really, about half the tables were empty. Whats bad is my other son had the same experience at Table 24. When he took his girlfriend there. I was sure hoping it would not happen again but I was wrong. I guess they see young adults and think they will not tip so why even work. Well here is a tip, I teach my kids the importance about tipping and we tip very well for good service, but if it’s terrible service then give a tip on that service. Whats also bad is I was there for Mothers Day, and not only was it terrible service by the Manager, she over charged me 40 dollars and I asked to have it refunded and all I was told is the owner had to do it. Well after 2 additional trips to get the refund and being told the same thing, I just gave up on it. But you can guarantee me and my family will NEVER EVER walk in that place again! What an absolute shame."

"Made reservations for the Thanksgiving dinner. When we arrived they told us they “ran out” Why not call the people that made reservations specifically for the thanksgiving dinner? Then the hostess lacked empathy. Said, do you wanna eat here or not? Weird and rude. We decided to stay and make the best out of it. They gave us filthy dishes. Like with actual food on them for our appetizers. The waitress seemed very overworked or just dizzy or something. She continued to bring food to our table that wasn’t ours. Then she even said at one point, “are you sure?” It all just seemed very off. We ordered the boneless wings (2 orders) and each of the orders were completely different. I will never go back. Best part of the dinner was the drinks honestly."

"This is a fantastic place to dine. I had dined at the Gardenview before, which is apparently connected to this restaurant, but they have entirely different menus. We will definitely return to both. It's nice to have a local gem like this, especially as so many restaurants struggle to stay afloat. My only complaint was that the seating booths need some attention. Both of us found the booths uncomfortable, as they were a bit worn and had been poorly repaired in several places. This unfortunately detracted from our meal. On a positive note, I had a "white strawberry cake" for dessert, which was fantastic! It arrived beautifully presented with fresh cream on top and was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!"

"When I arrived to pick up my order, I found a group of 3-4 intoxicated men at the bar, again yelling and using foul language. One of them even began to shout at me after I stated my name for the order. The staff didn't intervene and even served him another drink. I received my pizza, but then I was informed that the woman who was supposed to assist me was outside taking a smoke break and would be back shortly. I ended up waiting quite a while and finally said that if she didn’t arrive in a minute, I would leave without my order. Thankfully, she eventually showed up. This place has really declined, resembling the old Skidway Inn, which was known for being loud and obnoxious. If you're looking for a nice dinner, I wouldn’t recommend the Flippin Frog. I’m looking forward to the opening of the new pub at the old Thayes; in the meantime, I’ll be heading back to Dee's or West Branch."

"This restaurant offers simple and delicious deep-fried fish and seafood, available only by the half-pound or pound. The coleslaw is sold in the same way, and I'm not even sure if there are any other side dishes on the menu—perhaps they have fries. They do offer around seven different beers to choose from. Food is served on sheets of wax paper in a paper boat. While it isn't the cheapest option, the fish and shrimp are excellent, with the shrimp being particularly large. The perch might be lake perch, but they are battered and deep-fried, which is a unique experience for me. My personal favorite is lake perch prepared the way they do in Northwest Indiana, which is very lightly floured and browned in butter."
