"I want to start by saying I ordered from Zanzibar yesterday. My order was supposed to include salmon croquettes, rice, and mac and cheese, but unfortunately, the UberEats driver mistakenly delivered someone else’s food from Sam Sylk’s instead. What I received was two dark meat chicken dinners with a side of French fries—and it was a disaster. The fries were undercooked, undersalted, and had no flavor whatsoever. They were so bad that there wasn’t even the soft, fluffy potato texture you’d expect on the inside. The chicken smelled of old, rancid grease as soon as I opened the bag. The skin was soaked in oil, and the meat itself was unbearably salty—even after peeling the skin off. It was completely inedible. This experience was beyond disappointing. One star, and I’ll think twice before using this service again."
