"I had previously visited The Omelette Factory and found it to be a decent experience—nothing exceptional, neither good nor bad. However, after a recent brunch with friends, I can confidently say we were all very happy with our time there! Let me start by mentioning our hardworking waitress. She was doing her best to take our orders in a timely manner, but we were engrossed in catching up and enjoying the reunion. I didn’t catch her name, but she was constantly moving—checking in with us, running to assist another table, or hurrying to serve other guests. It was clear she was busy, yet she was determined to provide great service. Throughout the hectic Saturday brunch, she maintained her sense of humor and managed our table perfectly. A+ for her effort! When our food arrived, we were all momentarily silenced by how delicious it was. The portions were generous—we even had leftovers! We all agreed that this visit deserved a 9/10 rating, largely thanks to the staff. And let me be clear, the food was fantastic as well. I’m already looking forward to going back, and my new favorite dish is the Huevos con Chorizo with flour tortillas! I've said it before and I’ll say it again: please don’t judge a restaurant harshly because of an overworked server. Times are tough, and many places are short-staffed. The employees who show up deserve our appreciation!"

"Unfortunately, the food was cold. I ordered huevos rancheros, which did not taste like they used to. The service was slow, and our meals took a long time to arrive. They only brought food for five of us, and a simple chicken salad came about 15 minutes later. The following day, Saturday morning, I returned with my newlywed daughter and her in-laws for breakfast. I asked for a table for eight, and once again encountered the same woman. She insisted she didn’t have a table for eight. I suggested combining two tables, but she flatly refused and told me to return to the line. When I explained that we already had four people seated and asked if she could provide a table for eight, she started to yell at me that she had already said no. I reminded her how the former owner, Kelly, who sadly passed away in a skiing accident last winter, always treated customers with kindness and respect. He greeted everyone with a smile and did his best to accommodate any request. I really miss his welcoming spirit. What should have been a straightforward request for a table for eight turned into a significant issue, with this woman calling the manager. Unfortunately, the manager did not hear my side of the story and ended up asking us to leave, forcing my daughter and her husband to leave as well. This caused a very awkward situation, especially since the other family had already ordered breakfast. I urge people not to visit this restaurant if you appreciate good service and a pleasant dining experience. The staff treated us with disrespect, making us feel like we were a burden. As for the food, it was subpar—cold and tasting like old grease, which was never the case when Kelly was in charge. We ended up going to Bubba’s, where the situation was entirely different. Stacey, the waitress there, was incredibly nice and friendly, and the food was excellent, coupled with excellent customer service. There are many other wonderful places in town that treat you with dignity, such as Cowboy Coffee, Persephone, and Café Geneve. You’ll receive excellent customer service at these spots."
