"This was my first experience with the rice and gravy and the bourbon chicken. Unfortunately, the yams weren't cooked enough, and the bourbon chicken didn't really have that bourbon flavor. The rice and gravy also fell flat for me. I usually enjoy their food, but tonight I was let down. The mac and cheese was the only standout dish, as they usually do a great job with it. I do wish the portion sizes were a bit larger for the price, but I’ll still continue to support the restaurant when I can."

"The food was outstanding. I ordered the greens with turkey, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and a fried chicken dinner. The menu didn't initially include cornbread, but when I called to ask about it, the woman I spoke to was very kind and made the necessary adjustments. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and well-seasoned. The cornbread was soft and sweet, while the greens were tender and packed with flavor. The macaroni and cheese was delicious and hearty. Overall, the service was excellent."

"It’s sad when good food service don’t go hand in hand to say the least ??‍How hard is it to read a ticket let alone how difficult is it to use more than 1 bag with multiple orders???!!!! I’ve been going to this location since it opened its always a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good sometimes you get it it’s like why did I even bother ??‍. I would’ve rather gave 5 stars cuz the food was good the left overs were even better even though the greens with turkey wasn’t as seasoned as the greens with pork. But seeing as they forgot a WHOLE MEAL I had to wait for chicken wings that should’ve been ready when I got there 1 star is bout all it deserves ??‍"

"I 've been talking to Mr Maurice Green on the phone prior to hosting a family event. Not sure about the food because I 've never heard of this establishment and never tasted the food. But something about 'mom ' I couldn 't shake. My mother passed 10 months ago and everytime I searched for another cater, Mom 's would stand out. Finally made it to St. Louis the day before the event; sampled the food; and taste buds were pleased. Next day, Mom 's delivered as planned and there were no disappointments. Excellent job and thanks Mr. Green, Melvin, the ladies behind the counter, and the rest of Mom 's crew."
