"I had heard so many great reviews about this restaurant that I was eager to try it out for myself. Despite reading some negative comments, I knew I had to judge for myself. So, while out and about, we decided to stop by and see what all the fuss was about. The service was excellent; the friendly waitress seated us promptly and provided great service. After taking our time to look over the menu, my partner and I ended up ordering the same thing - a BLT sandwich with a few customizations. The sandwich was deliciously prepared, with the bacon perfectly cooked and covering every inch of the bread. It was clear that the cook puts a lot of care and effort into their dishes. We were so impressed that we plan to return for breakfast in the future. I even took a picture of our meal to showcase how beautifully it was presented. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and we left very satisfied. Thank you for a great meal!"

"Hubby was on the hunt for chicken fried steak, so we popped in on our way out of town. He really liked it. His eggs were cooked perfectly and the hashbrowns were buttery. He really liked the gravy, I thought it was a little too sage-y, but it worked for him. The steak was nice and crispy and held up well with the gravy. I had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The eggs were ok, but the amount of bacon was nice. Most places only give you a couple of slices, but I think they gave me 4! It was pretty tasty bacon. The pancakes were ok. They were really big, but nothing fancy. The folks were nice."

"SHOCKED...Stopped by to do a carry out order. We went to the door and looked at the menu from the holder by the door. We ran the bell a couple of time as is said to do. When we went back to the truck to call them in case they hadn't heard it. Instead of someone coming to the door and maybe saying we're closed, we were confronted by a man that came out another door. He started screaming at us to get the F... Out of here. He said we're closed...again he said WTF are you doing here. We said that we just wanted to get something to go and he said again to get the F... Out of here. He must have been drunk...at least he acted like it. It seemed strange to us as there were several vehicles parked in his parking lot. Well, needless to say we won't go there again. Very disappointed !!!"

"It doesn't matter if it's uphill or downtown, or what time it is. We've stopped by both locations on various days and at all hours, and I've NEVER tasted, seen, or even smelled one of their glazed donuts. Kudos to them for their success, but that's on me for missing out. I thought about giving it another shot, but I’m feeling done with it. Last week, I went to the hilltop location around 11:00 AM, and they were closed—probably out of donuts. So now, I can just grab them at the gas station at the top of Hanging Rock. That really makes sense. Maybe they should put in gas pumps and sell fuel too! Despite all my visits, not one employee ever mentioned that I could pre-order or get donuts from the gas station. I wonder if they sell out by 9 AM? I decided to give it one more chance since I was at the eye doctor across the street yesterday. The sign said Horst doesn’t deliver on Saturdays or Sundays, but right in front of me was a donut holder completely empty. I give up… you win."
