"I'm so glad we chose this place! The location deserves a 5 out of 5; it's in a great area in Natomas, and the interior is spacious. They even have a mini bar and some games! As for parking, I would rate it a 2 because it's somewhat far from the restaurant and shares the lot with other businesses. The hostess gets a 4; she seemed a bit serious, but I realized she might have had a long day, especially since the place was packed. The server earns a 4.5; he was attentive and friendly but did forget to bring me two items, which I had to remind him about. The environment gets a 5; the restaurant was clean, and they promptly cleaned tables as soon as they became available. Now, onto the best part … THE FOOD! I went with the supreme option and ordered a few items since it was just me and my baby, opting for smaller portions. - Sweet Chili Wings: 3/5 - Delicious but needed more sauce - Garlic Noodles: 4/5 - Very tasty, though a bit cold - Mild Ramen: 5/5 - Delightful and simple - Calamari: 2/5 - Well-seasoned but a bit stale - Garlic Butter Parmesan Mussels: 5/5 - Finger-licking good! - Rib Fingers (boneless ribs): 4/5 - Marinated well but had a lot of fat - Prime Steak: 4/5 - Could have used a bit more time marinating - Japchae: 3/5 - Tasted different from others I've tried - Rice Papers: 4/5 - Too sticky; usually, they separate more easily Overall, I highly recommend Daikon. As for kid-friendliness, my baby behaved wonderfully; there was so much for him to look at while I ate, and the place wasn’t smoky at all!"

"at first glance this place is kind of run down and doesnt really have a resturant feel but more of a run down bar kind of feel.we were greeted warmly by the waiter. they have what seemed like dollar store plastic table covers and ware. the fish nets and writing all over the walls didnt really help either. i know they were probably trying to make it oceany, but it detracted more than helped in my opinion.we ordered the cajun rice, cajun fries, tonkatsu ramen, fried calamari, seafood special, the mango boba, and fried icecream .the cajun fries were ok, the fries them self werent very good, and it seemed like there was just a bunch of cayenne pepper dumped on them.the seafood special was cool in that you could create a personal touch. but the crab legs were not very good and the potatoes and corn that came with it were not cooked very well, the corn was over done and the potatoes were under done.i really liked the fried calamari and the dipping sauces they had for it, i think they accidentally mixed in some fried vegetables as well but those were pretty good as well.cajun rice was decent but kind of a meh flavor by them self, similar feeling with the tonkatsu ramen, but i found it nice to take a scoop of rice and dunk it in the tonkatsu broth. that made a very nice flavor that i enjoyed a lot.we ordered the mango boba....the mango flavor was nice...but the boba was hard and not prepared correctly.i was very disappointed with the fried icecream largely in part because it was jot icecream, it was some kind of weirdly fruity white sorbet, not icecream at all. it was ok but i probably wouldn 't buy it a second time.overall i think this place is decent to try, and i might come to get more calamari to go, but i likely would not come to sit down often. it gives off the feeling of a dying not cared for restaurant."

"Louisiana Shabang has been in my hindsight to visit for a very long time. Well, last Friday night was the day I said Let 's do this! I came here for dinner. Windows were covered with advertisements so I couldn 't tell how the inside looks from the outside. Upon entry, it 's quite spacious and has some seafood charm. I love seafood so it is up my alley... charm away LOL!I was greeted right away which is always nice in my book. I needed some time to decide since it was my first time here. They offer bags of seafood by the pound. They provided bibs at the beginning in case I was going to get the bags which I didn 't so bibs went to waste. They probably should provide the bibs as applicable after order is taken. Fried seafood such as battered shrimp, catfish, etc are available. They have good choices of sides such as cajun fries, sweet potato, shrimo gumbo, and more.I ended up getting Fried Catfish with cajun fries, Sampler Combo (battered shrimp, fried catfish, chicken wings) (this doesn 't come with any sides), Shrimp Po 'Boy with sweet potato fries, and side of onion rings. I wanted shrimp gumbo, but they ran out. How can one run out of shrimp gumbo at early dinner time... I was bummed. Anyway, overall foods were good except for the Shrimp Po 'Boy (bread was not toasted and it needed more shrimp and sauce was not tasty enough IMHO) and fries (they were not crispy enough... I will need to ask them to double or triple fry them next time). Sweet potato fries were better than cajun fries IMHO.The server, Ben, was very hospitable, attentive, and accommodating. When I told him that I wanted to switch the 2nd basket of cajun fries with sweet potato fries, he was more than accommodating to replace them. Thank you Ben! Prices are decent for a seafood place. I 'll try the bags next time. Ambiance is quaint... it felt like we were dining underwater LOL. If you haven 't been to Louisiana Shabang and are curious about them, curious no more... just come on over and give them a try! Happy Shabang 'ing!"
