"I decided to try a new Chinese place for a special night. Overall I was disappointed in my pickup order, and was expecting much better food based on the favorable reviews and the prices. I paid over $30 for 2 entrees, one with “fried” rice, and an order of cream cheese wontons. The wontons were good, but the rest of the food not so much. The sesame chicken was barely ok but too much breading and it was sitting in over 1/2” of oil in the bottom of the container and most of the pieces were soggy. I poured the oil out before giving to the person it was ordered for. The “fried”rice was nothing more than yellow colored rice with a few peas and tiny carrot pieces and specks of onions. The schezwan beef was the worst. There was nothing schezwan about it, as far as flavor. The strongest flavor was of oil, and I don’t know what kind but it didn’t taste good at all. The beef must have been cheap and soaked in oil to make it tender because it had NO texture of beef, it was just slimy from oil. The vegetables in it were nothing special, didn’t seem fresh. The sauce was terrible. It wasn’t spicy at all and the taste was unrecognizable except for the oil again. I guarantee you the oil they use is very cheap, probably canola. They need to cut back on the oil and add some flavor and good spices. A lot of these reviews have got to be fake, because I can’t believe there would be many raving reviews for their food. I won’t be returning. Very disappointed."

"The food is exceptional, but there was one occasion when I had to address an issue with my order. Please avoid serving overcooked orange chicken—it's too delicious to get wrong. If something isn't up to standard, I'd prefer that you remake it. Consistent quality is key; we want to ensure that customers feel their money is well spent. "I'm going to be completely honest here, this restaurant is an absolute must try. The atmosphere is a mom and pop small business feel so you know your not just another number or notch in the restaurants belt. I've been ordering from this restaurant for close to two years after a Friend recommended it and I'm finally giving them due credit. If your unfamiliar with Thai cuisine just ask the chef/server/owner to make it simple or less adventurous and she will instantly without issues or attitude which caught me off guard immediately. I recommend their pad Thai, or their fancy duck both are amazing and delicious in their own right, plus you can have the spice to various degrees just ask. Aside from that their reasonably priced and like I said I've ordered 50+ times from this restaurant and not a single time have I had an issue, the quality is always on point and the service is the reason I and many others will continue to come back. If you've never tried I say give it a go you might just find your ultimate comfort food as I have."

"My friend had ordered us Shiki Ventura Lane in Statesville) through Door Dash!! "Foods great, if sometimes a little strong on their spices. Got to go for the first time today instead of dine in and they were super nice about us coming in and ordering Togo! "This place was super busy, and I've been doing this all the time. The food was amazing. Be careful if you want it hot (spicky anyway), because they put it on you. I had a volcano and I had to do so with him that I forgot to take a picture until I had done half. Much delicious. Wifey had a plate full of crispy green beans that they ate so fast they were half gone before I even check if they enjoy them! Be ready for fresh, great portions and authentic. "We just moved to the area and have been looking for restaurants. This was our first Chinese restaurant. Although the food was decent. We ordered online to pick up which my husband did. Consumer beware They have a door dash fee for picking up the food cause we ordered online. The online order confirmation quoted one dollar more on the website due to the powered by door dash. When my husband picked up the order they charged us one dollar less on the items but ended up adding on a door dash fee. This is bogus practice. I mean if you order online. You should pay restaurant prices and not door dash fees. Don't order online and pick up your food you will be charged a fee."

"This small-town Chinese restaurant offers food by the plate, and while the food isn't bad, the diner itself could use some improvement in cleanliness. It’s acceptable enough to eat without worrying about getting sick. The staff can be hit or miss; during one visit, a server walked by our table and accidentally passed gas, then humorously said, "KWOP DUSTAH." On another occasion, I saw a young boy, probably around 10 years old, at the register who spoke to the other staff as if they were beneath him. Despite these quirks, their egg rolls are consistently good. I won’t choose to dine in again, but I would consider getting takeout."

"One of my favorite date night spots around central Denver! My partner and I have been here many, many times and the prices here are unbeatable for maintaining such a high level of quality. "The Salted Pepper Shrimp was disappointing, as the shrimp was overcooked and tough, although the cooked onions that accompanied it were nice. The portion size was small for the price. Similarly, the Chung King Spicy Chicken suffered from the same issue—overcooked and chewy, and the serving size was inadequate for what we paid. The Family Tofu dish was supposed to include pork, but there was only a tiny amount present. However, the flavor was excellent, and the mushrooms and green peppers were the standout ingredients. Overall, the portions were small for the cost."
