"I ordered pizza for a 12 PM contactless delivery and was waiting in my kitchen with a friend. By 12:40, the pizza had still not arrived, so I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, ALEX. I explained that I was calling to inquire about my pizza, and he informed me that it had been delivered at 11:50. I went outside to check, and indeed, the pizza was sitting there. However, I did not receive a knock or notification that it had been delivered, so it was cold by the time I found it. I expressed my frustration to ALEX, but he insisted that the delivery driver had knocked, despite my proximity to the front door and the presence of a dog inside. He called me a liar and did not apologize or attempt to make the situation right. As someone who works in customer service, I was appalled by his lack of care for his business and providing good service. My daughter and I have a tradition of ordering Papa John's every Sunday, but after this experience, we will not be supporting this location again. We will continue our tradition at a different location. I hope this feedback reaches someone higher than ALEX and prompts improvements in customer service training. If I could rate the experience, I would give it zero stars."
