"On a positive note, the meal arrived surprisingly quickly. However, the expeditor placed my steak down facing away from me, so I had to turn it around to take pictures. It's much easier to cut your steak when it's in front of you instead of over your mashed potatoes and squash! I guess if they’re in a hurry, they just want to get dishes out of the kitchen and onto the table. The service from my server was passable, and the meal was decent overall. I particularly enjoyed the squash, and the steak was tasty as well; the temperature was just right. Dessert was delightful. However, I found the wine to be excessively overpriced. I could have bought an entire bottle for $8, yet I only got a glass, so I won't be doing that again."

"Ordered delivery. XL order of Buffalo fingers. Comes with a thimble full of bleu cheese. They charge enough, why be so cheap with the condiments? XL order comes with the same amount of bleu cheese as a regular order, and there is no option to order extra. Meal ruined. This is what happened with the Saugus location. I saw it coming when they went to pre-foamed soap and automatic paper towel dispensers. How do they expect working people to come in after a day of work and wash with a dot of soap? I'm done paying top dollar for simple order of chicken wings and getting shorted. Look forward to the closing of this location. You've earned it."

"I was so impressed.. The fish n chips as schrod which is like a little cod. It was amazing! White fish so flaky cooked to perfection and the batter was delicious light and crunchy not overly battered. The coleslaw was also very light perfectly seasoned not on the heavy creamy side and not overly vinegar tasting like most. The salad was very fresh. I tried both the bleu cheese and ranch both excellent dressings. The broccoli and cheese soup wad delightful not heavy or too much broccoli. I also had the pleasure of having their mango Mai Tail. So delicious. Perfect blend of flavors not too much alcohol and the service was superb! I was very impressed to say the least! The prices were very reasonable. The bathrooms were super clean and the decor wad relaxing and up to date! If I am ever back in this area I'd return again for sure! Thank you 99 for being a positive reflection of my vacation to Massachusetts! You guys please keep.it up! Super impressed. Thank you!"

"We visited last month, and while the service was good, my steak was disappointing. I ordered a rib-eye steak cooked medium-rare, but when it arrived, half of it was well-done and the other half was still rare. There was no flavor at all. Then, last Thursday, I tried again and ordered the sirloin medium-rare. The first bite felt like chewing on a rubber ball. However, my wife's and son's meals were excellent, and our server was wonderful. Next time, I’ll make sure to ask my friends for recommendations."

"The 99 in Framingham is one of the best locations in their franchise. Their happy hour specials and the Thursday $0.59 wings always make us eager to return. The staff is very friendly, and the facility, including the parking, is in great condition. The food was served hot and prepared nicely. We also enjoyed a couple of their drink specials: $5 margaritas and $3 Bud Select beers. While Waltham may have the edge with their frosty mugs, I've heard they get even frostier during lunch and early dinner. Be sure to order a few rounds for yourself and your friends. Enjoy!"

"Waitresses are always good regardless of which one but upon a mixup of dishes receiving the wrong one the response of management resulted in us taking the bill and leaving. Mistakes happen although preventable they happen but responses to these incidents depend on how the situation progresses from there. Had a normal team lead accept the situation and resent the correct plate it would've gone fine but we were belittled and encouraged to confess the fault was not on them or the kitchen but the fault was our own. I can accept any of my own failings but whether I requested baked or fried or hot or cold when you ask politely for a change it is the duty of the staff to make that happen not break down a play by play of finger pointing. Thank God there's more then one 99!"

"This hidden gem is a wonderful surprise for anyone willing to step inside. The food is incredible – I had a quesadilla and fried mushrooms that were enormous and absolutely delicious. I expected standard portions, but these were the size of my fist! The food and drinks are fantastic, but the true highlight is the staff. They go out of their way to make sure you're well taken care of, making every visit feel like coming home. With genuine people and authentic food, this is a place I'd happily return to any day of the week."

"I ordered a meal through DoorDash from this restaurant, choosing the buffalo boneless wings and loaded tots combo, along with the chocolate-drizzled dough bites. I have to say, I am really disappointed with this meal. The loaded tots tasted spoiled, as if the sauce had gone bad. To make matters worse, I only received seven tots in total—definitely not what I would call "loaded." The boneless wings were acceptable but nothing special. However, the worst part of the meal was the dough bites. I have to hand it to them; they somehow made something that was both moist and incredibly dry at the same time—quite an achievement! I couldn't even swallow one of the dough bites. They lacked flavor, were extremely chewy, and just didn't sit well at all. I wouldn't recommend any of the items I ordered, especially if you have any self-respect. Don't waste your money on this!"

"The new 99 in Middleton is a fantastic spot, especially for watching games at the bar. We chose to sit at the high tops and enjoyed the baked haddock, baked stuffed shrimp, and a cheeseburger—all perfectly cooked and delicious. Justin, our server, was amazing! We also tried the grilled chicken flatbread, which was outstanding. Bill, the manager, made a point to visit every table and chat with guests—very classy!"

"My son's meal was just as he asked for it. Country chicken, no gravy, double mashed potatoes. The chicken was a little dry but otherwise he was happy. My burger was cooked well done. I asked for medium rare, I asked for cheddar and American cheese but only got American cheese. I asked for a side of honey mustard but got none. My husband got balsamic salmon and broccoli and rice. He said his rice was undercooked and hard otherwise everything was good. We received no utensils or napkins. Typically the 99 is on point and consistent. Lately we have had experiences like this and it is becoming disappointing enough that we may have to go elsewhere when we do eat out, which is not often."

"The server was a bit slow and inconsistent, but they were friendly, and everything was fine. The reasonably priced drinks were definitely a plus. The food was decent, though it felt like typical chain fare. I can't help but think that if I had a different server or sat in another section, the experience could have been much better. I’d definitely consider coming back. There’s ample parking available, and the construction around the area is more organized now, making it easier to access from most directions. I found it odd that the brownie sundae was served cold; it’s a bit unusual but seems to be a common practice in the Boston area."

"By far the worst resteraunt iv been to in a while. I came here on a Wednesday night with my boyfriend. We were seated relatively quickly by the friendly hostess. We sat and waited for a good 5 minutes before our waitress Mallorie even came over to us to take our drink order. I saw here going around to other tables in our section who were seated after us and taking care of them first. After placing our drink order it took over 20 minutes to receive them. Our appiziter and my dinner were both cold. She hardly paid any attention to us and seemed more attentive to the older generation of customers. She had a very poor attitude and wasnt a very good waitress. I observed another gentlemen waiter working a different section of tables. He was very friendly and attentive to his customers and I wish I had seen his name to be able to give him credit. The restaurant was not very busy yet everything took a VERY long time to receive."

"Had the late evening munchies because I missed my usual dinner time at home. Too late to cook, too late to eat and still sleep well. So to the 99 Restaurant I went. I knew with their delicious wide variety of food I would find something just right for the time of night. And did I EVER!! Stuffed shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and the house salad. Three words: DE. LICI. OUS! Light, but filling. Huge-mongous shrimp. Stuffing melted in my mouth. Can't say enough and I have said too much, this is way too long."

"I visited this restaurant for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The waitress and the entire staff were very friendly. At the end of my meal, the waitress brought me a takeout box without me even asking, which was a nice touch. For my starter, I ordered the fajita flatbread, and it was fantastic; I'd come back just for that. The combination of the tomatoes, spices, chicken, and freshly baked bread was spot on. For my main course, I had the fried flounder platter. I was expecting just a few small pieces for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised with a generous portion of fish. It was fried to perfection and not greasy at all, just the way it should be. I didn't have high expectations coming in, but I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely a great place! "

"This location is pretty unique. I'm guessing it's one of the smallest locations I've visited, besides maybe the the one in Billerica on RT 129. For me its pretty nostalgic, since it might be the first one I remember ever visiting. Anyways, its very intimate setting with the horseshoe bar taking up 2/3 of the place. A row of booths in front and a block of booths to the right of the bar. The décor is a bit dated with some local touches like most 99's usually have with references to the community. It's a bit dark since there are not very many windows. The lager booth section can accommodate two large parties by removing the center partitions between booths to forma long table. The menu is the 99 corporate standard, which I find to be a great mix of Pub Food and Apps along with some comfort food options like prime rib and pasta options. There are seasonal additions that bring some variety. Some of my favorites are the French onion soup, boneless wings a very lightly breaded style- the goldfever sauce is my go to), and the hot buttered lobster roll when it is in season and their burgers. Their salads are great option too. In my opinion the the menu provides a great value and variety."
