"Was here a few months ago n enjoyed it enough to come back. The red curry thai snapper was sooo good. We couldnt stop eating it. The sashimi combo 2 had large slices of fish. I have been to other places and served slices half the size. Generous indeed. Check out my pics. The pot stickers were deep fried n crispy. The Red Dragon roll was my fav. Service was excellent. Our server was so nice n friendly. Our party of 3 agreed we would come back. Plenty of parking."

"we go to the Thai food center in the city. the food is delicious and its quality is consistent before place. we have been regular for over a year and still discover new food on the menu. They are very aware of the nutritional restrictions and can adapt almost everything on the menu. they tend to skip on protein, so they expect that they have a measly striping huh in their red curry. we end up ordering extra meat, but we should not have to. that means that our go to’s are the curry powders fried rice, the bark fried rice, the pad thai or our new fav the yellow curry (not included; strange)side note, they have free delivery and are really efficient. use it."

"Hmmmm. Not impressed after visiting the Nobu in LA. Had brunch reservations and got there a few min prior. Restaurant is closed until the exact time of the reservation 11:45am. It was raining and we waited the 5 min in the rain… They can’t open the doors to have people wait inside? Really? The restaurant was not busy. Waiter seemed pretty disinterested and didn’t explain the set brunch menu. I guess we were just supposed to know it. Was surprised when I asked questions. My son didn’t like coleslaw and asked to substitute fries (which is on the menu) instead. Seemed to be a problem and we were met with ‘there are no substitutes’. This ain’t an extensive menu mind you. I pressed the issue. It’s fries not caviar! They acquiesced for a $4 charge! I don’t like to be nickled and dimed for something so silly when I’m spending $65 for brunch. My daughter didn’t order the set menu and received her meal about 15 min prior to everyone else. She had tempura so it’s not like she could wait until the rest of us got our dishes. The food was ok. Nothing special that I need to go back for. This was just not the experience we had in LA. And again, the restaurant was NOT busy. The food and service was just not there to justify the cost of the meal. I won’t be back to the DC location but am willing to try others."

"I've been here with my bf several times. This time the service was lackluster. We waited an hour for our food and the waiter forgot my order so I ended up eating off my boyfriend's plate. The Mgr was very nice and apologized to us.. The noise level at the bar was increasingly loud thanks to two diners who clearly had too much to drink. Don't think I'll be visiting again anytime soon."

"Excellent ! We loved the food and the drinks! Innovative and interesting menu and the dishes are as tasty as they sound. Four of us shared a sampler appetizer plate, Mantoo, A vegetarian plate, and Beef Kofta kabob with saffron rice. The portions were ample, but not huge, and had distinctive, well balanced flavors. We will be back!"

"So this could have been a 5 Star Yelp review. But downgrading due to the lack of service on a Friday night. I blame management, and in this case, it could just be a family owned and run business. We only had to wait 10minutes to get a table so that was good. However, the hostess taking our order was so flustered as she was the only one that was taking orders with a packed house! There were two other boys that were either cleaning the tables and seating people but not sure if they were trained to take orders. We had two friends join us spur of the moment that evening so we had a great time. No rush by the restaurant to move on. We stayed there for over 1.5hours. Not really because we wanted to, but it seemed it took a very long time to make the sushi rolls. And we had to keep tracking down our hostess to get some of the items that we ordered. So now for the good stuff. The taste of almost every roll was phenomenal. The only one I didn't like was the Slow Burn Roll, which had an interesting texture to it and no burn to it. But the other rolls and the Sashimi platter were excellent. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was to die for! One of the few places that I have been to that actually serve this. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the rolls on the menu. Total bill for 4 people ended up around $170 including 2 beers and hot tea. We were not even asked if we wanted dessert nor did we want to stay any longer. But it was great to watch the Warriors game that was on while we ate. A very cozy restaurant and the locals know this has great food. I hope the owners take note of this and at least get someone else who can wait tables."

"We had a 6 pm reservation for four of us which was honored. After 20 minutes we had to ask for a waiter to give them our order. It took another 20 minutes for the first of the appetizers to arrive. They dribbled in one at a time over a 10 minute period. There were four appetizers ordered. It was, again, another 20 minutes after the appetizers were completed that the main courses arrived. All the food was very good. As we were presented with the check upon completion of our meal, a woman came to the table and told us to hurry up, a lot of people are waiting and I need this table. She was not the least bit interested in the fact that we were signing the check and that the service was ridiculously incompetent. She just kept insisting that we get up. This was the height of rudeness after they were the cause of us being at the table so long."

"One of our favorite spots on 2nd Street! We ordered the rainbow roll ????, a yellowtail hand roll, and the chicken udon ???? The fish is so fresh and delicious, and the udon was great as well! "We were seated in a noisy section of the restaurant with sound bouncing off all of the walls. The seats on one side of the table had no backs, which made them uncomfortable. The service was barely acceptable and was punctuated at the end of the evening when a drink we ordered came minutes later as we were paying the bill. We wanted to send it back, but the server said he "didn't have time to discuss it All of that noted, the food was good. But it wasn't good enough for me to go back again. Hopefully, you'll have a better experience."

"Had sushi for lunch here yesterday. The restaurant is in a nice little plaza area. The restaurant is decorated very nicely very authentic vibe. I love how it made you feel you were really eating at a Japanese sushi restaurant in old japan. The server was very nice very polite. They have buy one specialty roll get one half off. The rolls were a bit pricey but good sizes. The poke bowls were a good size as well and everything tasted fresh and made to order. I would recommend this place for sure if you want sushi in Long Beach!"

"The good the restaurant is clean and the decor is really nice. the staff is kind and curtious. seating was quick. The not so good The service is extremely slow. We were a party of 3 and we had 3 all you can eat (at a little over $28.00 a person). Our stay was close to 2 hours due to extremely slow service with both the beverages and the food. We would order no more than 5 items at the most at a time and at one point we waited approximately 35 min for a iteration of food. It was very frustrating dealing with this. Qe thought that maybe the restaurant was busy but it was not busy at all, it was a very manageable amount of guest and should of not taken that long. The food is not worth the price. The sushi is not that good considering a nearly $30 price tag for an all you can eat. I would highly suggest going somewhere else with a little more prestige and notaritary to it if you 're going to pay that price for sushi. The sushi came out very lack luster in presentation, taste and construction. The sushi would come out over battered for fried rolls, luke warm for baked rolls and not rolled for regular rolls (see the pictures). Again, go somewhere else if you 're going to pay these prices for sushi. I 'm not the type to bash a restaurant just to bash a restaurant (see other reviews ive left). If the food, service or cleanliness is bad,it 's just bad. I will not be visiting this restaurant again and won 't suggest it to anyone else."

"Haven't written a review for a bit but this was a must. Service : Front Host and servers were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Made some great recommendations. Always in the small details like my water cup was never empty. Started with grilled octopus , miso cod . The cod was flakey and grilled to perfection. The octopus was charred with a hint of smokey flavor, grilled to the perfect tenderness. Drinks had a passion fruit mojito. Perfect balance of sourness from the passion fruit to the Mojito. Compliments to the bar tender. I'm not a huge drink fan but there is an extensive list. Curry Pork Kastu and sashimi for entrees. Super fresh fish would definitely order again. The curry was out of this world. Amazing depth of flavor to cover a juice pork Katsu. Lastly we finished with the Cheesecake tempura with matcha ice cream. The slight bitterness of the Match balances the heavier creamy cheesecake exceptionally well. Overall compliments to the chef. We had an amazing dinner."
