After a long week at work, my energy was low, so I decided to ask our friendly hostess for a recommendation. She suggested the dishes with garlic sauce, which she loved, and I quickly agreed—after all, you can never go wrong with garlic.
The chicken was incredibly tender and cooked just right, while the garlic sauce was nothing short of amazing. It had a perfect balance of sweetness and a mild kick—suitable for almost anyone. Although I initially asked for it to be spicier, the flavor was exceptional, and the sauce had the ideal consistency. I just wish there had been more, as I prefer my food swimming in sauce. To me, everything else is just a vehicle for delivering that delicious sauce.
But it didn't stop there. Our hostess also recommended the Szechuan dishes, and again, the chicken was perfectly cooked, while the vegetables struck a wonderful balance between tender and crisp. I personally would have liked a lot more heat, but I have a penchant for spicy food. Speaking of spice, our waitress was delightful and truly knows how to brighten someone's day.
So, if you come across this review—whether you live nearby and have yet to give it a chance, you're on the other side of town, or you're just passing through—Weng's Garden is definitely worth a visit. And remember, folks, you can never go wrong with garlic!"
