"The food is okay, some things are very good and some things like the fried rice today was not good, but the tuna sandwich was great. But the review here is about my delivery!!!!! I asked the delivery man to leave the food on the doorknob in delivery instructions as I do when I order, always! I have a baby and I may be not dressed or what not, I never tip before hand, I tip and amount I tip will always have to do with the service I receive. I go back to grab hub and add appropriate tip as I did today as well. The man kept knocking over and over again! He did not leave! Woke up my baby, did not follow instructions to leave on doorknob. The tip I leave goes from $1-$20 depends on service of delivery. He did not only wake up my baby, but didn’t leave for so long that by the time he finally left, the food was Luke warm! Not only that! The restaurant called me and harassed me about tipping! clearly tip was not deserved, he told me customers are supposed to leave beforehand, that’s not smart at all, how can I tip before not knowing the service I will receive? Then he tells me if I didn’t tip before I have to tip with cash?! Outrageous! I always go to DoorDash and add tip after, well clearly he deserved zero, I still left $1 and that’s only to show these people that you clearly can easily leave the tip after, like I would have if they followed instructions and didn’t call harassing me, absolutely disgusting, they told me I didn’t open the door, because I didn’t want to tip, nasty! I always tip! Never cash and never beforehand."

"I’ve ordered twice through Grubhub and both times the food was delivered ahead of schedule, fresh and piping hot. The egg drop soup and hot and sour soup (spicy were both tasty. Shrimp egg foo young was loaded with shrimp and deliciously filling with steamed rice and topped with the brown gravy. The shrimp with vegetables had a nice blend of broccoli, carrots, snow peas, water chestnuts and baby corn, all covered in a brown sauce. Nice to have a good Chinese takeout place nearby!"

"The food here is very good. The Best Chinese food, imo in Joliet, and I have been looking. Portions are well served. Everything I ordered was great. I ordered a veggie lo mein by mistake cuz who orders veggies i aint vegeterian) and that stuff slaps. It's really freaking good. My only complaint is the dough for the dumplings is too thick, same for the crab Rangoon. But they were still very good. This is the 1st time I ordered Chinese food in my life and I don't have any leftovers the next day. It was that good. I found my new go to place. You should give it a try. Good Job people who probly don't know what I'm saying."

"Good afternoon, I recently dined at this restaurant and was quite disappointed with the experience. My friends and I were not pleased with the food. I noticed that some chicken had been left on the ground in a cardboard box next to the grill, which was very unappetizing. While we were waiting for our orders, we even saw a rat. Additionally, there was a Chinese woman working there who spoke in a disrespectful tone in her own language. As a result, my friend and I decided to leave and won't be returning."

"Very sad to see what was a wonderful dinning establishment go down. They serve under cooked food and even when brought to the managers attention they dismissed it. The cook was upset we had something to say then in return he threw hot food from the grill onto my 6 year old. Took over 30 mins just to get someone to our grill where we sat and they were not busy at all!.. asked for water refills more then 4xs and never got a refill. I would of given them a 5 star not even a few months back now I wish there was a less the 1.. Only 1/2 the staff are masked and this used to be a wonderful place to be. Not sure of the changes being made but deff not worth eating or dinning here."

"The only reason why I won't give less than three stars is because this place does have great food and the service at one time was on point. Some of the hosts/hostesses. (at least the current one) in particular, as of late are causing the quality of this establishment to go downhill. Not having knowledge of menu selections while working at a resturant, especially as a host(ess)/waiter(ess) is not a good look. Arguing with return customers- who spend their money and know what they like+what they always order-because you lack knowledge of the menu where you work, then getting part of an order wrong, is worse. I've enjoyed the food from here, it's great, but my time as a customer has ended. Hopefully they will get more reliant individuals to take orders."

"I've eaten a lot of paintings here about the years. it has always been decent eating. no more. the last time will be our last time. the spicy thunfish in my hand roll and 2 of the sushi rolls we ordered were so extremely salty that he made it completely unusable. I had used the soy packages that they contained, and first thought they were the tattoo so that I threw out the sauce and used a low sodium that we have in the refrigerator. the same problem. only one bit on the spicy thunfish alone was the proof that it was the man. it was not the hurdle that was the problem, the thunfish was not really very spicy. it was simply extreme saltiness, which made her whole mouth salty for an hour afterwards. it's like it's kaustic. it was completely infallible. the sashimi and the other roll that did not contain the spicy thun were in order. I have eaten california rolling from 7 11 before. I had everything from food store sushi to chic restaurants that cost hundreds of dollars. I've never had a sushi that tasted so bad I refused to eat it. that was the worst sushi I've ever tried. we ordered by doordash, but I called her to see if they wanted to do it right before they only get a refund of the order by doordash. No, they didn't care. they even hanged on me. when they treat you like this after they have the nerve to eat something like that, they will never get another dimmy from me."

"As long-time patrons of this restaurant, we noticed some disappointing changes following the departure of Karen Meier, the former partner and manager. Initially, under the new management, we found that everything—food, service, atmosphere, and even cleanliness—fell short of expectations. After waiting a couple of months before making another visit in hopes of improvement, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was just as delicious as we remembered, and the service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and overall ambiance had returned to their former glory. While it’s unlikely that any manager will ever completely replicate Karen's grace, charm, and style, we did see positive changes in that area as well. We’re excited to return to our regular visits to Imperial Garden."

"I ordered the General Tao chicken lunch special, which had several options for just $7.99. I found it to be extremely spicy—way too spicy for my taste. The fried rice didn’t even have any eggs, so I’m not sure why it’s called fried rice! Also, it was a yellow color, and the two pieces of broccoli were tasteless. The other dish I tried was wings with fried rice, and it was just average."

"On June 4, 2020, around 7:30 PM, I ordered $65.50 worth of food during a heavy storm. When the delivery arrived at my home, I noticed that the fries were missing and immediately called the restaurant. I spoke to someone who identified himself as the manager, and during our conversation, he was quite disrespectful. This is the second time I've experienced missing items from my order! I would not recommend ordering from this place, as they clearly do not value their customers' payments."

"This restaurant is fantastic! The food was outstanding! It's a place that might be missed because of its location, but like all hidden gems, it’s definitely worth exploring and trying out! I ordered a combo with soup, and it had just the right amount of spice—not too overwhelming at all. I also enjoyed their Thai tea, which was absolutely delightful, especially with the scorching weather in Michigan right now! I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone nearby or anyone passing through Warren. Let's support local businesses!"
