This turned out to be a wise decision as the restaurant was busy and we had to wait for about five minutes before our order was ready for pickup. Once we got home and tried the food, my high expectations were exceeded. I opted for the Dave's Veg-Out sandwich, which I customized by requesting no cheese and having it oven-baked. The standout ingredient in the sandwich was the artichoke hearts, which surprised me with how delicious they were. Overall, the sub was incredibly tasty. In a town like Mount Vernon where plant-based options can be limited, I highly recommend giving Dave's Cosmic Subs a try. Additionally, I want to mention that the Dave's Cosmic Sauce, which is vegan and delicious, is available for purchase at the restaurant."
