"Well I was not very pleased with this resturant for a bit. However, they did redeem themselves. We called for a take out order a while ago, because we were excited to try Alfonso’s. However, we were shocked when we were informed that it would be an hour long wait for 2 pizzas, which are not difficult items to make with haste on a busy night. This is by far the longest time I have ever waited for a pizza in my life, and is pretty sad to be honest. So service, to put simply, was horrible. However, I was very happy afterwards, because Alfonso’s makes some killer pizza! This is defenitly in my top 10 pizza places in Illinois! The crust was a good crunchiness, the cheese was gooey, and the meat was extremely flavorful. And for once, the pizza isn’t doused in grease! So while I am extremely dissatisfied with the service, every other aspect regarding the food was amazing!"
