"Out of all the great places we ate, Ernst Bar and Cafe was the real gem. The red beans and rice was perfect on a chilly, rainy first night in the city. We also had po'boys, the burnt ends macaroni and cheese, and waffle fries on the side. All was outstanding. Full of fresh flavor and authentic awesomeness. The service also shone, even though we didn't get drinks. They were friendly and responsive and accurate. We're gonna hit Ernst Cafe every time we return to New Orleans."
