"I don't usually write restaurant reviews, as I am typically underwhelmed by the food at most places. However, I must say that Sottocasa is a hidden gem that all food enthusiasts should know about. After dining there, I can confidently recommend Sottocasa to anyone. My friends and I, even the picky ones, were all pleasantly surprised by the wood-fired pizza. I personally tried the Reginella pizza with a Rughetta salad, and every bite was a flavor explosion. The quality of ingredients, from the dough to the mozzarella, was exceptional. It's clear that the chefs at Sottocasa use only the best ingredients available in New York. The experience of eating there was truly indescribable, reminding me of the delicious pizzas I enjoyed while visiting my family in Napoli. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting from the moment you walk in, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Don't miss out on trying their impressive selection of imported Italian beers – the Nazionale was particularly good. A visit to Sottocasa in South Harlem is definitely worth it; you won't regret it!"
