"Me and my wife visited this location for dinner, one of the waitress told us to sit anywhere we'd like, there were 2 waitresses, and the one that helped us seemed to be in a rush, eventhough she said hi, she asked us if we were ready, we said not quite ready and she walked away, the coffe we got was cold and seemed to be sitting in the pot for a long time, she came back and took our order, we ordered a sampler appetizer that came at the same time as the dinner, my Philly cheese steak was good and hot, the French fries were cold, my wife ordered the taco salad and had a good presentation but as she started to eat it looked like they chopped 3 hamburger patties and placed them on top of a handful of lettuce, the waitress disappeared for a few minutes and we had to call the bus boy so my wife can order something else, then the waitress came and we told her the situation and she rolled her eyes and took the new order, the she came and dropped the French toast which half wasn't cook all the way, she never came back to check on us, finally she came and slammed the check on the table and walked away, we didn't want to complain about the food cos she might think we wanted free food. Anyway we always go to country inn in prospect. But tonight we wanted to give it a try here. It's sad how restaurant business is not what it used to be, nowadays owners managers are so greedy that the only thing they care is to make money, and servers see that if they are careless(owners and managers) of course nobody cares, I used to work for a long time in the restaurant business and was totally different great service and good food( this is the second order we got. Just to prove that is not BS!!!!"

"I've been driving in Flor's Diner for a couple of years because I've taken my wife and her boyfriend for lunch. It's close to the friend's home and she doesn't have to drive far. The food was great before Covid, but the last 3 times I was there the food I was cot was BAD!. I ordered a hamburger. The patty was shoe leather thin and as hard as a shock puck. Not taste. Forget the rest of the burger. The bungalow was fantastic. Too bad what was in it was not supplied to the disposal. LOL My wife got a Chile Relleno was on the small side and not much taste and where was the cheese. The beans were on the dry side and so was the rice. The Toko's weren't worth the money. I said the last time I was there, I didn't go back. I should have listened to my head instead of the woman. Now for the rest. The music was so loud that I couldn't hear what was said. I could be old, but I have a good hearing. The choice of music would give you a nervous breakdown. I asked twice if it was not. It was turned off a little when I said to hear it for the whole place, but then it went up again. Let's talk about the service. the woman works there all the time and was alone. No big deal. The place was half full, but I could handle it without any problems. I never got any more water and the lady didn't get any refills. The women got cakes and ice cream to split between them and it took 20 minutes to get it. Talk slowly. I know the owners, but they don't remember me. They also own baseline burgers, which was a fantastic place on the day. The best food in the country. Now it is too expensive, dry and in such a bad part of the city I will not go nearby. There are fantastic Mexican places to eat, but not in Redland, Highland, San Bernardino, Loma Linda and Colton. You have to get out of the valley to find any place that has good food. Even the chains here have bad food. I travel all over the country and world. I know good food. They have to close their doors. My burger wasn't a burger. I saw cowpattys that seemed to appreciate more. I'm an old peasant boy."

"Now, let’s discuss the menu. It’s extensive, almost like a novel, with pancakes as the star players. They offer everything from fluffy classics to creative concoctions that you won't believe! Seriously, those pancakes are more delightful than a comedian’s best joke! And for a fruity twist, they serve raspberry sauce on the side—because even regular pancakes deserve a little adventure! Whoever had the idea for bacon pancakes deserves a round of applause and a standing ovation. They were absolutely delicious; the combination of crispy bacon and fluffy pancakes is nothing short of breakfast perfection. However, I must say, the hash brown was a letdown. It may have been having an off day, but it fell short compared to the rest of the meal. This place is also a great value for your money, and you’ll probably leave with some breakfast leftovers to enjoy later—a feast that keeps on giving! We waited about 30 minutes, but honestly, good things are worth waiting for, right? And I promise you, these pancakes make every second of the wait worthwhile. Just a heads up: finding parking is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It’s a never-ending game of musical chairs, but with cars! So, be ready with your patience as you hunt for that elusive parking spot. Lastly, the atmosphere at Flappy Jacks Pancake House is filled with a fun Route 66 vibe that adds a retro touch to your breakfast experience. It feels like stepping into a time machine while indulging in pancakes and nostalgic memories. Just be prepared for a lively crowd because this place is always buzzing, which is a true reflection of its popularity!"
