"I ordered a chicken souvlaki and a gyro sandwich for lunch, dining in. It was clear this place isn’t what it used to be—there was no A/C on in the middle of August. The waitress didn’t smile once, and the drinks were disappointing—a watered-down Coke and iced tea that tasted like it came from powder. The tzatziki was bland, the chicken portion was tiny, and some watery sauce was poured over it. The worst part was the pita bread, which was cold and straight from the fridge, same with the gyro. The only highlight was the French fries. Meanwhile, the waitress was answering phone calls and getting annoyed with customers asking about the lunch special. After 15 years, Angie’s is no longer worth visiting."
