"After reading the reviews, I wasn't aware that you had to order inside before picking up your food at the window. However, the gentleman at the counter let me order at the window without mentioning the usual process at all. The Chicago dog "dragged through the garden," topped with vinaigrette cucumbers, was absolutely delicious! The fries were just how I like them—thick and crispy. Even the Coke had the perfect balance of syrup and carbonation. I felt great supporting this local spot over Portillo's down the street. It's important to keep our mom-and-pop food stands thriving; they really add to the charm of the Chicago suburbs!"
