"This is my second time order from this place and delivered it in Merrillville, which is a distance. Both times we have our food earlier then what they say and beautiful and hot. I have to say I tried a lot of places and I don't know how to get it from Chicago. But this place is great and I will never order anything else, but here. They also ensure that your food is packed well with your drinks. That's a 10 star place considering it's in Indiana. Keep the great work!!!"

"I finally got the chance to experience restaurant week and picked the best place to start The Capital Grille. The restaurant was beautiful, elegant and classic. In the historic Equitable Building, what was once a mighty bank vault is now the entrance to the private dinning rooms on the lower level. Just stunning, don 't forget to check it out. For starters we ordered the Clam Chowder and Green Salad w/ Parmesan vinaigrette. The clam chowder was soft, creamy and had a substantial amount of clam in each bite. Now, I 'm a fan of green salads but this had to be the best salad dressing I 've ever had. I loveeeee Parmesan cheese and the vinaigrette was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I ate every single bite of the salad and really could gone for more. We ordered a Blackberry Bourbon cocktail and an Old Fashion. The blackberry bourbon drink was delish, just the right blend to accompany the mouth watering steak. We ordered just about the same thing, the Bone In Dry Aged NY Strip 14oz, one with lobster, one with jumbo shrimp and both with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were just melt in your mouth creamy. It was such a great side to the steak. He ordered his steak medium and mine medium rare. When they arrived to the table his steak wasn 't cooked to his liking and the waiter Donavon noticed by the look on his face. Donavan asked him if he wanted to order another steak to his exact liking, he hesitated for a bit but then went with Donavon 's suggestion to eat the steak exactly the way you want it. Moments later Donavan returned with a steak cooked medium rare that was exactly how he wanted. Thank goodness Donavan asked him a couple of times because it was really worth the extra little wait. I genuinely appreciated Donavan 's attention to detail and vibe. Donavan was just a delight, exceptional service, fun and very helpful. His service was 10/10. Oh and just when we thought we were done, the desserts arrived. Hello chocolate cakes! First bite into the cake and I knew this was the right decision. The cake was served with raspberries on the side which allowed for a wonderful blend of sweetness from the cake and a bit of tartness from the raspberry. I really didn 't have enough space to finish the entire cake but I did my absolute best. I highly recommend this location we had a wonderful dining experience and can 't wait to comeback."

"Very upset my kids and I were hungry I waited for a while and they gave us this old wing because there were not fresh there were very dry and this were not from today this are old wings they reused could have got us sick so I gave it to my dogs instead they had very bad service very rude employees that were just horsing around and having attitude to us costumers do better or fire them cause some of us also come from work just like them and we also get tired but when you are working you got to give respect for us to be able to give it to you this don't go for all the workers it's for those that were horsing around giving attitude and thank you to those workers that were actually doing there job right .??"

"The chocolate chip cookies at this restaurant are delicious, and the staff was friendly even an hour before closing time! Despite having friends with various allergies and intolerances, including nut allergies, gluten allergies, and dairy intolerances, I still enjoyed the cookies over other baked goods. Although I am not a huge fan of brownies, my son enjoyed them. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back. Thank you for your wonderful service and for making delicious treats that cater to all dietary needs. It is truly a simple pleasure to be able to enjoy fresh bakery treats, especially for those with allergies like my son."

"I visited Great Harvest with my daughters and we were disappointed. The bread was stale, we had to wait for service at the sampling line even though there were no other customers, and the customer service was lacking. This used to be my favorite place for lunch, but I'm not sure what happened to their recipes. The cinnamon chip bread was bland and the lemon blueberry cake was so dry that it crumbled when I bit into it. I ended up throwing it away after paying $6-8 for the whole cake. The chicken salad was okay, but overall, I expected more from Great Harvest. I will not be returning."

"This is our 6th Thanksgiving at LaQuinta in 8 years. Where to start.....each year the experience has declined exponentially. The check in process was cumbersome—from waiting in an unorganized line, payment being required upfront, to being told there was an hour wait if we didn’t want to sit in the sun (we had made reservations a month in advance . It was almost 90 degrees on Thanksgiving. The outdoor seating, with umbrellas, made for a nice setting, once the sun was no longer overhead. However, to access the buffet, you had to walk a considerable distance across an uneven surface, through a line of waiting diners and basically into a side door to the buffet. We commented that you could burn more calories than you consume just by getting your food. The food was very good, but definitely not up to the selection and quality in years past. In the past there had been a crab cake station, prime rib and lamb. None of these dishes were available this year. The carving station staff was less than generous when serving the meats—it felt as if they were instructed to ration it. The kids area in past years had fun activities and a much better selection of food items (chicken tenders, mac cheese for $45 a plate really? ; kids table was so low (about a foot high that the 11 year old in our party had to practically crawl to get her food. The same child asked for chocolate milk and was told there was none—but there was...in a carton at the kids table. And now to the price. It was $82 for adults, $45 for children. This did not include beverages. There were 7 in our party. We certainly do not mind paying this amount for an exceptional experience. This was not. UPDATE: My son in law called LaQuinta management to relay our experience since it differed from past Thanksgiving dinners. The manager was both gracious and generous in responding and for that we say “Thank you, LaQuinta!”"

"Despite the many mixed and poor reviews, I decided to give this place a try for my wife's birthday. I ordered a french toast style cake with maple frosting, along with an order of 6 oatmeal raisin cookies (her favorite). Upon picking up the food, the cake looked very well made and had a very pleasant odor of maple and cinnamon. After taking the first bite, may we just say, this was the best cake that we have had. The frosting was delicious, but not at all too sweet, which is an issue I have with most bakeries. The cake itself was plenty moist, but also hearty. The oatmeal raisin cookies were out of this world. Just the right amount of sweetness, and super soft. All in all, we will be back. Reading through the negative reviews, I do understand that sometimes a bad batch can make its way through and everyone's taste buds are different. For us, it is great to find such a great tasting bakery that is dairy free and gluten free. Neither of us have a gluten allergy, but we did notice that after eating a large amount of the sweets from here, we did not feel any kind of sluggishness that we have felt from eating sweets elsewhere. Keep it up guys!"

"OCD bake shop has some of the best cookies! The chocolate chip cookies are some of the most delicious, gooey cookies I’ve ever had! Her decorated sugar cookies are beautiful and also have a delicious taste! Sometimes decorated sugar cookies look good to the eye but then the taste is off, but not in this case; Jess has really perfected her cookies and only puts out the best! You will not be disappointed!"
