"Cooke’s has been an old standby for my husband and his family for years (20+ . We usually eat here once during our annual cape pilgrimage. We had a late lunch here around 2:30 on the Saturday before July 4th and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of a hung crowd….as it can get seriously busy. "I've lived in Leavenworth Kansas since 1989 and had never eaten here. I had passed by there many times. Today we decided to try it. I have to say it was outstanding. The food was great. The atmosphere was great. Service was personable. It was what a small town eating place should be. Prices are cheaper than most places around Leavenworth. We are definitely going back again. The menu has a lot to choose from. Oh and by the way on Saturdays they have ribs. If you never have eaten here you should try it at least once. I'm pretty sure you try it a 2nd time."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and I have to say that the service was quite disappointing. I felt rushed throughout my meal, and after receiving our bill, I waited for 10 minutes without anyone coming to help us with payment. As a result, they ended up receiving a tip that was not deserved. Additionally, they didn't inquire about dessert or offer us straws, which was unexpected. Furthermore, the venue did not seem to adhere to social distancing guidelines at all. I was really looking forward to trying this place out, but I left feeling very let down."

"Don and Millie?s is a place that I have been coming to for years simply because it?s one of the best food restaurants in the Omaha area. The double don is an a filling, great tasting burger with 2 Patty?s, bacon, an onion ring and all the fixings. Thecheese frenchies are probably the best dang grilled cheese sandwiches that you can get and they are a great option for lent whenyou can?t eat meat on fridays.
