"I really want to like this place but am hard pressed to go back after a few times. The last time, the bartender was the crankiest there is. Whine about tips right in front of customers and then after they leave. Whine about how many to-go orders she has to deal with. The kitchen was so slow 20 minutes to get an app. Then one excuse after another why two burgers were taking so long. Then when they finally came out they were so over cooked I wouldn't eat mine. They offered to make another but I didn't have that much time to wait again and said no. I ended up get a sub next door instead while my wife finished up and paid. To their credit, they did get another burger cooked to-go and didn't charge for it. The food has always been decent. but not awesome. We live right down the street from it so it is convenient but . . ."

"Attempted to eat at Driftwood Bat and Bistro on a Wednesday evening, due to other good reviews. Because of limited hours at area restaurants, I checked in the early afternoon to confirm hours. Imagine my surprise when we arrived 15 minutes after the posted opening and we’re told that 1) they were not yet ready to serve and 2) the menu was to be “breakfast for dinner”. That was NOT posted on the website at the time I checked and we wouldn’t have driven miles out of our way had we known. Can’t really review the food as we weren’t able to eat."

"This place is definitely a hidden gem. Some people (like me) really enjoy the vibe here. The owner is a wonderful woman who treats her guests with great respect while serving at the bar. The regular staff is also friendly and welcoming. The menu is small, offering reasonably priced bar food that's quite good. I love coming here for a few drinks and some bites in a laid-back atmosphere without breaking the bank."
