"1. My wife ordered a large rare steak and brisket pho. While the broth was decent, the portion sizes have noticeably diminished, and there was a lack of meat in the soup.
2. I tried the Vietnamese ice cream for the first time and was underwhelmed. It appeared to be pre-packaged and mixed in a plastic cup. Normally, I enjoy watching the traditional brewing process and the blending of milk and coffee, but that didn't happen here, resulting in a bitter and lackluster taste. The ratio of coffee to condensed milk was way off. When I requested a bit more condensed milk, the server returned with hazelnut cream instead—seriously? When I went to pay, I noticed that the person preparing the ice cream was brewing coffee directly into plastic cups and then pouring in the condensed milk, which explained the poor flavor.
3. Our 3-year-old ordered a small bowl of broth and noodles, as usual, but they brought out a tiny bowl with hardly any broth and an excess of noodles. The last time we visited, they provided a proper child's portion.
4. I ordered the beef vermicelli bowl, but the meat was scarce and the dish was barely warm. Given the prices, I expected much better quality. If a customer reports a problem with their food or drink, I would replace it immediately without hesitation.
It’s a shame because there aren’t many good pho places in Humble, and this restaurant could be great with a little more effort."
