"This restaurant has tremendous amounts of potential, held slightly back by small little details that add up. First off, the venue is beautiful. The vibe, the decor, the location, it's absolutely excellent and sets the mood perfectly for any event. Having two levels leaves plenty of room, and spacious dining rooms. Next, the service staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful. However, they are missing some core rudiments which I would expect of a venue like this: regular stops to fill water, or dropping a water glass for self service. walking through the menu, offering suggestions for popular or seasonal items letting you know up front which dishes are good to share, and which are better ordered solo. The great thing is, the impression I got from the staff was that they're all incredibly eager, and willing to learn they may just not have been trained to do so. I say this in part because we noticed a manager making rounds of the guests and staff, and generally also glossed over these finer points of hospitality. Once impressed at the top, I have no doubt the staff would immediately take up the challenge and excel. Finally, the food. The bar program is impressive! I wanted to stay all day to try all the drinks the Bourbon Blaze was our absolute favorite. No notes, solid drinks. For the food, we found ourselves a little disappointed with discrepancies in description on the menu, and what we got. For example, for the Short Rib hash we were expecting potatoes akin to, well, a hash. Instead, we had a disappointingly small wedge of potato the short rib was plated on. Also, we ordered two dishes of short rib, and the salt levels were pretty different between them. For portion sizing, I had the country egg Benedict, which was also a bit on the saltier side, but more importantly was overwhelmed on the plate with salad. I loved having the salad with the Benedict, but the salad actually partially covered one of my eggs this was an overwhelming amount of greens that obscured the fact that I had two to begin with. In this particular case, less is more. Finally, for the desserts, the portion sizes were massive! Very, very generous, but I wish I had some warning up front how big the banana pudding and the apple crisp would be, either by the server or the menu. Each of those dishes could serve at least two people and we ordered one for each of us. Overall, there's definitely room for improvement, and I hope they do! Heritage has a lot of promise and I'm excited to see how they implement changes and improve further. I will absolutely come back to track their journey. "Review of Red Bamboo, Vegan Restaurant in Manhattan Red Bamboo is an intriguing vegan dining spot nestled in the heart of Manhattan, easily accessible via the One train at West Fourth. During my recent visit, I had the opportunity to explore their unique menu offerings, and my experience was a mix of culinary discoveries and some minor observations. Vegan Chicken and Vegan Shrimp: The menu at Red Bamboo offers a variety of dishes that creatively mimic traditional meat-based items, such as vegan chicken and vegan shrimp. While the vegan shrimp received high marks for its taste and texture, unfortunately, the vegan chicken didn't quite meet expectations. It's worth noting that creating meat substitutes can be a culinary challenge, and preferences vary widely. Menu Naming and Expectations: An interesting point raised during my visit was the naming of vegan dishes to resemble meat. It's a valid observation that sometimes naming vegan items after meat can lead to expectations that may not align with the flavors and textures. Offering dishes with names that celebrate their unique vegan origins could help avoid such comparisons. Atmosphere: One undeniable highlight of Red Bamboo is its exquisite atmosphere. The restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance that enhances the dining experience. It's a great place to enjoy a meal in a relaxed and inviting setting. Service and Customer Interaction: While the majority of the staff at Red Bamboo were friendly and accommodating, there was a minor hiccup in customer service. An incident where a server denied a customer a physical menu to take back to the office raised concerns. This suggests an area that could benefit from clearer communication and more consistent customer service standards. Conclusion: In summary, Red Bamboo offers a unique vegan dining experience in Manhattan, with some dishes, like the vegan shrimp, standing out as crowd-pleasers. It's a restaurant that embraces creativity and innovation in vegan cuisine. However, the naming of menu items and customer service interactions could be areas for improvement. While my initial sampling wasn't entirely satisfying, I'm open to returning for another visit, as the potential for discovering vegan culinary delights remains promising. Red Bamboo's beautiful ambiance and commitment to vegan dining are reasons enough to consider giving it another try."

"While driving by car, I discovered ROYAL PIZZA from the corner of my eye - it was hard to miss. What really attracted me was the epilepsy induced Strobe LEDs hanging in the window lighting of the “Wacky Wednesday” advertising that is judged by the name happens every Wednesday and is really crisp. In the parking lot in the lot and surveying the shops next to ROYAL PIZZA I found that half of the plaza was a liqueur, and on the left was a dance school and a martial art Dojo, so I was obviously in a place of art, culture and high-class people. The disproportionate amount of old women who struggle to push their walkers into their car confirmed my belief as my father always told me the older you are, the more you know about class and higher culture. Let me just say now that the interior of the store exceeded my expectations. Not only did I go to a pizza shop, I went to a restaurant that can only be called the top of Italian cuisine. The newspaper stack on my right side greeted me with the last weeks news, and the bush of the 4 beverage refrigerators gave me a feeling of home. In order to speak on the refrigerators, they were all of a different size and make sure that they were passed on peas from previous generations by ROYAL PIZZA. The one who immediately caught my eye was the Coca-Cola fridge, the soda in the upper and lower, and in the middle a shelf dedicated only a shaker of Parmigiana cheese, which I do not doubt it is made at home, and a single bottle of vanilla coffee cream. At first I was confused about the store bought coffee creamer among these other amazing products, but as I clicked to the left on the display of coffee pots and sugar cans the puzzle together. To tell me that was both a pizza shop for the extravagant rich and a coffee shop is what many would think as blasphemy. Trust me that I didn't believe it until it filled my iris. The ceiling fans go at different speeds, the view of the television blocked by an energy-drink refrigerator, the countless menus hanging over the wall and counter. This is easily one of the most connected places I have seen as the similarities of GREAT WALL CHINESE or even the Flying Pig Cafe. When I put my coke on the table, I watched a middle-aged old man who complained about his work-kneeling and bowed to his own peace. The level of care and attention to detail he has applied in his craftsmanship is in contrast to everything I have ever seen and appeared as a master in his craft. When he called the boy in the back “People at the counter” in a grilled tone, I got a little fear that I was not welcome. Maybe. I wasn't in the vast wealth as most of their customers. But when the traitor came out of the tricky swinging Slaoon-style doors (Göttin), which separated the general public from true pizza perfection, my fear faded as the smile on his face gave me a warm feeling. The coke was 1,50, a reasonable price. When I sat in this pizza shop today, I wondered if I could ever go back to an average culinary experience. 10 stars if I could recommend id to anyone"
