"We entered the restaurant to a server who also parlayed as the bartender. She was frazzled. We asked for a booth and got a direct no, table or bar. We sat and waited. A table at the booth was clearing and we asked our kind male server who said yes, and within seconds the Asian lady running around snapped no. We sat at our table. The server at our table was honestly sweet, he made the fatal comment of saying he had a food memory and then proceeded to get our order wrong and forget items. We waited for over an hour before we got food. We were given our miso soup to tide us over but after asking 3 times he brought me sparkling water. He then brought me another full bottle for free, as much as the gesture was nice 2 big bottles of sparkling water is excessive for 1 person. We paid 26 bucks for 6 pieces of salmon and rice which was insane, the Sashimi platter at least had 12. We asked for no octopus and it was left on the plate. Our kid was starving so all in all not good. A gentle man next to us was frustrated and complained about an order, it all kicked off and the mood of the place was insane. Angry comments to the amazing sushi chef, then the Asian lady showing her anger and then two servers in a corner talking about what was going on. What a disaster first dinner on our trip."
