"Great place for happy hour and dinner with friends. Three of us went there for an early dinner on a Friday. The weather was beautiful.so the big doors were open and we were able to sit outside but still feel the vibe from the inside. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, fresh, and the portion sizes were filling but not too much. This would be a great place to bring friends, the family or for a date night."

"This was a really chill diner. The menu is completely vegan but will substitute some Dairy (cheese and such) for a fee. The atmosphere is somewhat rockabilly and the staff is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. There is a Children’s Menu available and the place is extremely family friendly which is great. The food is stellar and very flavorful. They also have a decent selection of beer and wine."

"LOVE going here! It's in my neighborhood, and always has amazing food, lots of variety. Great prices. The only downside is I wish they served breakfast all day, because my favorite is the cactus w/ eggs and sometimes I would like it for dinner. Any time I have friends visiting I take them here! Great place. Great quality. Great service. And the best part, they give you Dum Dum suckers after your meal! Highly recommend!"

"Margarita, the dinner was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The waiter service was excellent. Everything would have been perfect if it weren't for the issue with the margaritas. The men received strong strawberry drinks, but the margaritas for the women were essentially just fruit with little to no alcohol—barely detectable. This feels dishonest and is quite disappointing."

"Happy hour every day 3 to 6 for the week $5 appetizers all worth it my son and I go every week the margarita is very weak I'm not even sure if they put alcohol in it. A few months back had a terrible waitress our experience there has changed and we keep coming back this is a place I would definitely recommend you have many options for the tacos as far as meat goes their jalapeno poppers were great and crispy there Chipotle wings spicy AF! Delicious the problem is they run out often and are not always available to order. A good friend of mine Christina who used to be a promoter here brought me here for my birthday couple years back it was a great experience of food was delicious and authentic so aside from the happy hour I have had dinner their drinks that night were a lot better then the margarita that they serve for happy hour which on are at the end of the day seems like a rip-off being that I'm pretty sure there's no alcohol I rarely drink and this place their margarita I can only say is weak. Save yourself the $10."

"So honesty here! We are new to this area but I find that the Mexican food is not Mexican food I'm not sure if it's because of the culture here but I am not used to it! I ordered carne asada plate my husband ordered a burrito asada so the beans taste like they got a can of rosarita and doctored it up the rice has too much cumin for my liking but still had good flavor and it wasn't crunchy it was perfect the asada was not asada it was more like cuts of steak but the meat did have good flavor it was a little dry tho. My husband said that he doesn't like lettuce in his burrito he found that to be weird but he said it was really good to him he enjoyed his burrito. I as most of you know that read my reviews know that.... okay I'm a cynic! I was impressed by their guacamole they used real avocados the downfall to this time was that I found pieces of the outside of the avocado but I called them and I told them and he gave me a credit for my meal which was amazing and appreciated because I was pretty sad about that. So upside real avocado, grilled onions! Found it odd that they cut up my jalapeno... Like why?"

"Absolutely love this spot quick, easy, affordable dinner that has the perk of being delicious! The birria tacos are 100% the way to go so full of flavor, juicy, and the dipping sauce is meaty and delicious! On that note the quesadilla with birria is also delicious, incredibly filling and yes definitely worth trying! The street tacos are great, juicy, fresh tasting meat I tried the lengua, spicy pork, and carve asada all great, but are not the showstoppers. The red salsa is really good, it's a little spicy and perfect addition to the tacos. All in all great place, and I'll be back for the birria!"

"I placed an order through Lalo's website shortly after they opened on July 5, 2021. I needed to pick it up quickly before heading to work. My order included 4 Pozole, 1 regular Nachos, 1 Enchiladas Verdes, and 1 Chicken Mol. Everything tasted great, but unfortunately, the order was incomplete; I only received 1 Pozole instead of the 4 I ordered. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the person on the phone was very apologetic and asked if I could come back to pick it up. However, since I was running late and had to travel out of town, I couldn't return, and I did not receive a refund."
