"We're originally from Los Angeles, and we were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of this place, which rivals some of the best spots in East L.A. We ordered the #7 combo (Tacos, Gorditas, Sope) with one taco filled with chicken and the other with beef tongue (Lengua). Both were excellent! The burritos were also outstanding, and the street tacos were as authentic as you can get. Plus, the prices were reasonable. Next time, we’ll definitely try the Menudo (beef tripe soup) and the Honduran fried chicken. It’s a good sign when a Mexican restaurant offers lengua and Menudo on the menu. Another indicator of authenticity is that they don’t serve chips and salsa at the table. We forgot to take pictures, but overall, it was a great experience!"
