"*Disclaimer*: Having recently moved from Texas, where I enjoyed excellent Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican cuisine, this review focuses solely on the quality of Mexican food available in this area. Among the many Mexican restaurants in Clarksville, I consider this one of the top three, alongside La Michoacana and El Molcajete (which I fondly refer to as El Mo's). The food quality is quite good for the price you pay. Comparatively, while El Mo's offers more affordable options with better salsa, La Chiquita generally has slightly better overall food. La Michoacana is the most authentic Mexican dining experience in the area, and personally, I prefer it, but I often choose El Mo's or La Chiquita when dining with my kids. At La Chiquita, I mainly stick to the fajitas or the Chile Colorado. I've found other dishes just passable, and I can't recommend the quesadillas, oddly enough. The service here is consistently attentive and prompt. As for the ambiance, it's pretty typical of a local Mexican restaurant, with a strong community following."
