"Very rarely do you find a restaurant that: has real, fresh ingredients that you can taste individually, smart recipes that make you stop and appreciate the craft, and a wonderful couple that greets you in a way that makes you feel like you belong. They're easily worth a drive up the mountain to the cozy village of Cloudcroft. A must-stop sandwich and soup shop.Dietary restrictions: I over-heard a customer trying to order a gluten-free sandwich, and while they normally carry the appropriate bread, they were out (a limitation of being in the mountains). Instead, they offered at no other charge to turn it into a bowl-style meal, a wonderful display of customer service!"
