"My wife and I have heard all the hype surrounding Hummingbird and can confirm that it lives up to the hype, Hummingbird is completely legit. The service was awesome and the food was stellar. I had the Monte Cristo with homefries and the remoulade. My wife decided on the Peacemaker Po’Boy with chips and devoured it. "My long black americano was delicious. The coffee beans are high quality and have a fantastic taste. The baristas are skilled at pulling shots. They unfortunately were not doing pour over at the time of my visit, but were otherwise perfectly accommodating friendly! I also had a bagel, I would definitely order one again. Paired perfectly with my coffee. Seems to be a great atmosphere for Christmas as they've put extra work into setting up decorations. There were also lots of people working from computers and the overall vibe was great. Looking forward to returning and trying their specialty Christmas drinks."

"Coffee is ok..not the greatest coffee but a pretty good cup of coffee. Got the caramel latte, liked the fact they had a good vegan option. There’s a lot of competition with coffee shops now and some of the options the coffee just taste great. It’s all about the coffee maybe look into a better coffee that has a full bodied taste…but everything else is there the ambience. The caramel flavor was pretty good…but some of their competitors use a homemade caramel that has a more natural taste versus the syrups that have an after taste. It makes a huge difference. And on a side note after I had this coffee the coloring of my skin and the coloring of my eyes looked very unhealthy. There is some coffee that is more toxic than others for your health. My body didn’t react well to their coffee. The white of my eyes turned yellow."

"My absolute hands down favorite coffee joint in Columbia, MO. Their espresso has a rich robust flavor like no other in town, I usually get their mocha or vanilla latte, hot or iced both are amazing. They use a punch card reward system, which never expires and can be combined. Love the environment, great place to have a business meeting, casual get together, afternoon date or for studying. "I really love and appreciate this place. The owners, husband and wife I think, are older and they are so adorable and sweet. I have never been a boba person because I don 't like super sweet drinks--but their coffee boba is my new addiction. I bought Nicole 's Own Blend and their Espresso roast to brew at home. I worked as a barista for a year so I have an appreciation for coffee. This is the best coffee I have ever had. It 's seriously so damn good, it 's magical. The beans are a little pricey but it 's worth it to me! I only wish I could buy the boba for at home--because that is the one thing my at-home cup is missing, their delicious coffee boba. "I stumbled upon this fantastic coffee shop one morning while I was in the area, and I'm so glad I did! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I ordered a matcha latte and a toasted everything croissant with cream cheese, and both were absolutely delicious. This café is a perfect spot for relaxing or getting some work done. I really appreciate that they offer conference booths for rent, providing extra privacy for meetings. "Placed an order online for takeout and the estimated time was 45 minutes. I arrived a little after and was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Understandable, it’s Mother’s Day, so I left for a bit to take a walk around. Came back in after and was told it would be another 30 minutes. Hostess was also walking around complaining about how rude everyone was being. I ended up driving home then coming back. Total time was over 2 hours from when I placed my order and it wasn’t even worth it.If the kitchen can’t handle the volume, it would make sense to close online ordering? Or at least give customers a realistic time frame."

"While I don’t want to come across as a coffee connoisseur, I was disappointed with the French Press I ordered. I typically make French Press coffee at home 3 to 5 times a week, so I'm quite familiar with the process. My concerns were raised when I was informed that the brewing time would be only 3 to 3.5 minutes. The coffee tasted like it hadn't brewed long enough. I ordered my coffee to go, and by the time I got home about 15 minutes later, it was still at a good temperature. However, they forgot to add the almond milk I requested. That said, I always appreciate the chance to try new places; it's the best way to determine if they’re worth a return visit. While I waited for my order, I noticed that the dining area felt a bit cramped. Both customers and wait staff frequently had to turn sideways to navigate to and from the tables and restrooms."
