"The young woman working at the register was very slow, engaging in 3-minute conversations with customers who just wanted to pay. However, the manager was rude and refused to give me a refill for my iced coffee even though I had my own cup with coffee still in it. Despite working at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and knowing how easy it is to provide a refill, the manager went out of her way to deny me. She also insisted on a receipt, which is not standard practice for refills. Clearly, she could benefit from some customer service training, especially since I have been in her shoes and have granted refills to customers in the past. Furthermore, after paying for a new iced coffee, they still wanted to use my old cup. Despite wanting to push for my refill, I decided to leave since I had already waited in line for 5 minutes. Despite the poor service, I still left a tip."
