"Another issue was the presence of flies around both the salad bar and my table. I noticed several other diners trying to swat flies away at the salad bar, which was quite distracting. I can’t see myself returning to TAGS for three main reasons: the overly crispy catfish from my previous visit, the extremely salty oysters this time, and the rampant flies, which suggest a lack of investment in fly control measures. It's not just one or two flies; they were everywhere, especially near the salad bar and at my table. I also suggest that the cook occasionally taste the oysters to ensure they aren't overly salted.
On the bright side, the servers at TAGS were excellent and have consistently provided good service. Unfortunately, the woman at the cash register was quite sour and unfriendly, which added to the unpleasant atmosphere—perhaps the flies bothered her, too. One last observation: if you drive around the back of TAGS, take a look at the trash pile and let your mind wander—could there be a connection between those flies outside and the ones inside?
Goodbye, TAGS!"
