"OUTSTANDINGLY SUPERB! Honestly the only place I've been able to request items that aren't necessarily on the menu and a little more authentic' then the cliche Mexican establishments in my entire life. From fluent Spanish speaking American and fluent English speaking Hispanic staff I was met with unbelievable service. Matthew was my server yet more of a guide to the splendid food, salsa, and specials they offered; guiding me warmly, charismatically, and most knowledgeably through my desired experience and showing me my next delicious experience. Add the inviting ambience and smiling faces diligently attentive to even a newbie like myself and you undoubtedly get the best dine in or take out memory of your life. I'm from now on a regular to say the least. I had only tacos which I ordered custom and were prepared exactly how I requested verbatim. And the brown salsa was the best I've tried anywhere rivalling the most talented taco stand traditions. The music was of excellent flavor as much as the food! They are family owned and it shows in excellent fashion!Tables were bussed immediately and impeccable. Utensils were appropriately cleaned and dishes were glistening. Bathrooms were as if new and the whole store maintains a clean, fresh, inviting fragrance that compliments the decor wonderfully. Jose, the manager, was a very bright and welcoming face whom I was able to share good conversation and inquisitive thoughts without feeling burdensome. My server, Matthew, was bilingual and an younger American who knew what I was looking for and delivered more than I expected. It was honestly him who pushed the stone down the hill to become a regular. Combined with everything else, who could resist? This is by far your best choice within the surrounding area for a good vibe, unparalleled flavor, and great prices and specials here in Clinton and surrounding areas. If you haven't- COME AND EAT! "We decided to try various appetizers this visit, including the Mexican pizza and bacon quesadilla, both of which were delicious. The service was great, with our server being attentive and the table cleaner also deserving of a little extra tip. Despite the higher prices typical for a Mexican restaurant, the quality of the food makes it worth it. The ambiance is quite dimly lit with a red hue, adding to the cozy atmosphere. "I finally got to visit Ruthie’s! We arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday, hoping to beat the crowd. The place was about half full, with a lively crowd at the bar watching the Astros play. I ordered the Banderas platter, while my husband chose the chicken enchiladas. We opted not to get drinks, so we just had water, which tasted like straight tap water. A slice of lemon helped mask that flavor a bit. The food was tasty and served quickly and hot. My platter included carnitas, which were incredibly delicious. The rest of the meal was good, though nothing particularly outstanding. Next time, I plan to try the famous fajitas and see if they live up to the rave reviews. Overall, it was a solid, basic Tex-Mex experience, and I’m glad to have this spot in the neighborhood!"

"I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this restaurant has been open for 4 years and I had never been aware of it before. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the cleanliness and spacious seating. Our server, Paco, was friendly and attentive. In Annapolis, this restaurant stands out for its authentic Mexican cuisine and delicious dishes. I recommend trying a variety of dishes, but make sure to save room for the sopapilla dessert - it was one of the best we've ever had. Overall, this restaurant definitely ranks in our top 3 favorites."

"Walking by you might think this little place isn't much but go inside and have some of the food and you'll feel like you're in heaven. The food is absolutely AMAZING! My girlfriend had the chicken that comes out on like a hot skillet and it was bursting with flavor! I had the steamed flank steak and it was absolutely incredible. The meat was so tender and juicy. Just full of flavor and it just pulled apart so easily. The lady who was at the counter taking our order came out and served us and she came back to check on us to ask how the food we liked our food. She was so nice and courteous. The staff that I did get to meet were very nice and friendly. I'm definitely going back!"

"We've been regulars during happy hour, which offers great prices and a good atmosphere. However, during our recent visit with a group of friends, things went awry. The servers kept changing—there were as many as four different ones—and none of them came to our table consistently. We had to go inside repeatedly to request food, drinks, and other services. They even attempted to charge us for the complimentary nachos and salsa that were placed on the table when we ordered. When the bill came, many prices were incorrect, and they had the audacity to include a 20% service charge. Normally, I'd be fine with leaving that as a tip, but not given this level of service. It's also against Texas law unless it's clearly stated on the menu. Overall, we were quite disappointed, although the coronaritas were a highlight."

"I've tried nearly every Mexican restaurant in Sonoma County, and this one stands out with its exceptional food! The mole is delicious, there's a great salsa bar, and they even make their own ricotta cheese in-house. One unique option is their fantastic Agave wine Margaritas, available in a variety of flavors. They offer a nice mix of traditional Mexican dishes and some fusion options. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive; the owner personally came over to check on how we enjoyed our meal. The only downside is the atmosphere—it's a small spot in a shopping center, which can be a bit uninviting. Nonetheless, this place has quickly become a new favorite for us!"

"I wanted to this the pupusas hear and was excited to check out a new spot to eat out here in Gardena.. but as soon as I walk in.. in 30 secs I had to walk out quick. A gentleman was paying and you can tell he was somewhat intoxicated (buzzing hard) and I notice and also listening when he pay with his card... a lady (cashier) and some other guy that came from the bar in the back was talking to the buzzed up guy and when he got charge and saw the receipt.. he ask not once, not twice but three tike (you cam see the lady was trying to ignore him and at the same time talk to him like being all cool like a female does.. so he ask why he got charged $2 more on a $5 bill.. lady said its thr credit card charge (he had a debit) and the other guy said the bar and the front restaurant have to spilt that money... so just hearing that made me feel they doing some type of scam so I had to walk away quick... made me not trust those two invidual. I know know what I saw and heard plus im street smart to see what's happening. So can't give you no food review but I felt some shady situation was happening had to move on quick. Just a friendly heads up."

"The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. We hadn't been here since the ownership changed, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. We sampled several breakfast and early lunch dishes, and they were all fantastic. I especially loved the flavorful and crispy tostadas. The portion sizes were generous, and every bite was delightful. They also serve churros with a tasty cajeta dipping sauce that I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the cozy restaurant is clean and inviting. We will definitely be coming back!"

"How the mighty have fallen. Plantain chips were done in burnt oil with a strong plastic flavor. Churasco tasted like lighter fluid or camping fuel. Rice had an after taste that I couldn't quite place. My kids who always love this food couldn't overlookthe flavors. My wife who loves the rice couldn't get more than a couple of fork fulls before stopping in disgust."

"Las Arenitas was recommended to us by the helpful hostess at the Super 8 by Wyndham, nearby. We appreciated the recco!Interesting combination of cuisines. My wife was interested in sushi, but I wanted Mexican. Fortunately, we found both here. We ordered a sushi roll, three other sushi items, miso soup, and a fish and a shrimp taco.The sushi arrived very quickly, and was quite good.We waited a long time for the tacos, and while waiting, I asked for chips salsa, which were freshly made. The salsa was particularly good.After quire a while, the two tacos arrived. They were good, too, but the wait was disconcerting.The miso soup never came.Three stars, mainly because of the wait and missed item. But, the food we got, when we got it, was good."

"On first entering the restaurant, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The decor was Mexican, attractive and altogether charming. A hostess took our drink order and brought us water, chips and salsa which were fresh, warm and delicious. A waitress came and took our orders. The size of the chimichanga was astounding, as was the burrito. The chile relleno plate was delicious as were the other two. The restroom was immaculate as was the whole establishment. By the time we finished a leisurely meal the restaurant was almost packed. I'm thinking it's a local fave and I will eat there again if I have the chance. I highly recommend it if you get the chance."

"Excellent service, friendly staff, delicious food! Started with the queso which was perfect. Felipe was a great waiter and Manuel, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful. We ordered the brisket tacos and brisket enchiladas and were both impressed with the quality and portions. We will be back for sure."
