"This restaurant is a counter-service BBQ spot with limited indoor seating but plenty of covered outdoor patio seating. There is a separate table outside for to-go orders and pickups, which helps minimize crowding. Our food came out quickly and was delicious; even the lean brisket was juicy and packed with flavor. The nachos were topped with pulled pork on the day of our visit (they offer a different meat each day for the nachos), and that pairing was fantastic. There's a bit of parking available outside, but finding street parking isn't too difficult if needed (just be cautious of ongoing construction). The staff are friendly and accommodating. Thankfully, Blue Oak adheres to the city's COVID-19 safety regulations, which currently require indoor masking and proof of vaccination or a negative test for indoor dining."
