"Initially, a gentleman seated us indoors, but it was uncomfortably hot and humid, which is certainly not ideal for summer dining. I couldn't understand how anyone was able to eat in such heat. When I politely requested a table outside, he nodded but then never returned to our table. We ended up waiting and asking other staff for assistance with our seating, but we were completely ignored. Though the outdoor tables were full at first, a few were becoming available as we waited. I finally had to step outside and speak to someone who I believe was the manager, who was clearing tables. She hesitated but eventually nodded to allow us to sit outside. Mind you, we were only a party of two, and I didn’t want my mom, who was really struggling in the heat, to endure that uncomfortable indoor environment any longer. Finally, after waiting another 25 minutes outside, our waitress completely ignored us and attended to the tables beside us instead. There was no apology and she didn’t even acknowledge us! By this point, we were starving and becoming very frustrated. I had to call her over directly just to take our orders and bring us water. She almost ignored me the first time I called her over too. Honestly, she seemed annoyed, and I believe her name was Laura. Her attitude was quite rude! This experience was not at all customer-friendly, and I hope the staff can improve their service skills in the future!"

"As for the drinks, the server persuaded us to order a full pitcher of the Champagne Sangria, claiming it was her personal favorite and the best drink they offered. Again, I was let down. It wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t memorable. To top it off, the plastic wine glasses felt quite cheap. Just so you know, a full pitcher only provides four half-filled cups. When it came to food, we inquired about the six-sampler appetizer priced at $35. The waitress informed us that the chef would select the six items based on what was freshest in the kitchen. We decided to give it a shot. After waiting for 35 minutes, our appetizers finally arrived. We had checked in with the waitress after 20 minutes, and while she promised to look into it, she vanished to chat with her coworkers, leaving us to wait another 15 minutes. The items the chef chose for us were calamari, shrimp in garlic sauce, stuffed mushrooms, quesadillas, BBQ pulled pork sliders, and chorizo. To start, none of it was warm. The calamari rings were the tiniest I've ever seen and tasted microwaved. There were four shrimp that had a very fishy flavor. The four stuffed mushrooms seemed like the stuffing had gone bad, and they were quite small. The quesadillas were simply melted cheese on a flour tortilla, lacking any flavor whatsoever, with guacamole as the only side—no salsa or sour cream in sight. The BBQ pork sliders were actually decent and I wouldn’t mind having those again. However, the chorizo came cut in half, so we only got the equivalent of one and a half chorizos in total. They were tasty but pre-cooked and full of flavor, so I can’t give the chef much credit there. Plus, some pieces were burned. Now, about the bill—this is crucial! They automatically add an 18% gratuity for tables of three or more, which I’ve never seen before; usually, it’s for tables of six or more. I’ve heard of it applying to tables of five, but never three! We didn't notice this information on the menu and only found out when we received the bill. When we asked the waitress about it, she confirmed it was correct. I regret not taking pictures that night; it’s a memory I won’t soon forget. Needless to say, after that experience, we chose to head somewhere else for dinner. Luckily, the new place we found was fantastic and made up for the disappointment we had here!"
