"I recently dined at Mother's Grille in Timonium and found the experience to be a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the food was enjoyable, and our server, Ariel, provided excellent service, enhancing our overall dining experience. However, there was a significant downside. Upon receiving the bill, I discovered an unexpected surcharge for using a credit card. This information was not clearly communicated beforehand, as it was only posted near the hostess stand or somewhere on the menu—places easily overlooked by most customers. I found out about the customer notification only after questioning the manager about the surcharge. Had I known about this surcharge in advance, I would have opted to bring cash to avoid the additional fee. This lack of transparency was disappointing and has impacted my decision to return. Clear communication regarding payment policies is crucial, and unfortunately, Mother's Grille fell short in this regard."

"For a restaurant presenting as high end and charging as much as they do, this was a lackluster experience. For the restaurant having about 8 tables seated when we walked in, it took an unacceptable 10 minutes before we were even served water. The menus were crinkled pieces of paper, and our water was never topped off until the end of our meal. I ordered soup and specifically requested that it be served with my steak. The soup still came out before the entrees. Our potatoes were doused in butter, which overpowered the flavor profile. Additionally, my ribeye came out with far too much fat. While I understand it is a fattier cut of meat, this level was unacceptable for the price you are paying. This was not a clean marbled piece of meat. Nearly half of the steak was pure fat while the other ribeye on the table had an average amount of marbling. While the waiter did properly bring my concern to the kitchen and rectified the situation with an additional steak, the kitchen, nor a manager, even looked at the original steak. For the price point and visual expectation for this restaurant, it is not the true high end experience one would assume it to be from outward appearances."

"The food at Top Hat is usually quite good and we generally enjoy dining there. However, our most recent visit was quite bizarre due to the brunette server who was assisting us. She seemed to be overly flirtatious and constantly touching my husband and the other men at our table, which made everyone feel uncomfortable. It was awkward and disrespectful, and we wish she had been more aware of her actions and kept her hands to herself. It was especially odd that she only touched the men and not the females. Overall, her behavior was unnecessary and strange."

"I have eaten and Vic and Anthony's in the Golden Nugget times it was always great, I thought we should try Ember, big mistake. Oysters and Asparagus were excellent and so were the drinks. But, the steak was terrible and I still wonder why they would even serve it as they did. We ordered it medium and it came out as tough as a shoe. My wife said we should not say anything so we didn't. But, I was not happy at all"

"I am sure at one point this restaurant was great, seen it's better days. We left without eating. Dirty/stained table cloth, dirty/stained napkins and dirty presentation plates upon being seated. Made it difficult to stay and expect the food would be worth the price. Someone needs to begin paying attention to details and cleaning the place up, too many better choices in the Chattanooga market. Went to Rodizio Grill and spent less money and a wonderful dining experience."

"We enjoyed our 34th anniversary dinner at Vista. They gave us a beautiful table on the patio overlooking the golf course and mountains. We could enjoy the piano player inside without interrupting our conversation. The food was delicious, and we loved the menu option to create your own meal with the choice of protein and sides. The service was excellent too. Jennifer was our server. We haven’t been in a couple of years but will be back soon after this wonderful experience! And, we received a delicious lava cake dessert on the house for our anniversary! We highly recommend!"

Told the young hostess as well, walked inside, plenty of under roof seating with social distancing and still demanded we were sitting in the sun. Asked to be moved, hostess told us she would check on other seating and be back, stood and talked to another young worker and both walked off leaving us so we left and went to other establishment"

"We were staying in Morgantown for a long weekend. We tried to get a table here the first night we were there. They were closing early due to a staff shortage. Two days later we tried again. We were seated right away. Our waiter, who was fantastic, apologized in advance for any delay because he was waiter, busser, cashier, host ...he was very busy. My husband and I each ordered a beer. Our waiter brought our drafts with the apology that those were the last 2 beers he could squeeze out; the CO2 lines were down. A brewery . With no brews. On Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I know Covid has stressed restaurants to the max... but this was a disappointment. The pizza was really good. If I am back in Morgantown I would try this place again, making sure they had draft beer first!! They posted these signs just before we left. Had we known there was an issue we would have gone elsewhere."

"This is THE place to be during ravens home games. Place is packed and electric! Staff and a very nice and accommodating. They put on the bills game for me the day they played after damar hamlin’s injury. Food is good. I just wish you guys had more of a small snack/munchie/appetizers menu for when I’m there with Volo. Like add pretzel bites and tator tots and cut every other appetizer in half for serving and make that into a side snack menu. More a nitpick than anything but the tv in the back right of the main area has been stuck on a greenish hue forever. Can you use the remote to fix it?"

"A group of five (including two children) struggled to find a reservation anywhere that offered food the kids would enjoy for less than $50 per person. While both our server and the bartender provided excellent service, they don’t have control over the food quality. The steak sandwich was inedible, and the side salad was soggy and lackluster. Two members of our party ordered burgers and were pleased with them. The pretzel and its dips were enjoyable, but the Cuban sandwich was quite forgettable."

"BAD SERVICE AND UNTRAINED STAFF.I stopped by this location this afternoon and ordered food for my family. When the order was ready for pickup I paid at the cash counter and even before I could pick my ORDER the cashier asked me to step aside and started ringing up another customer. "This restaurant used to be a favorite of mine since it opened, but not anymore. The food quality has declined significantly, to the point where I won't be coming back. It even made my wife feel a bit sick. I'm disappointed because a few years ago the food was great and I was a big fan. I especially enjoyed their habanero salsa. However, when I tried the Mexicali Blues Burrito, the chicken pieces were tough and scarce. Everything seemed like it wasn't fresh. I hope they can turn things around and improve their quality. "I ordered nachos with beans, onions, peppers, and queso, along with a few other items. When my nachos arrived, they had the extra veggies I requested, but only one grilled onion and one grilled pepper. The toppings were insufficient, only covering half of the nachos, and several I ordered were missing. Additionally, the chips didn't taste right. My boyfriend ordered a chicken quesadilla with guacamole, which also didn't come. I ordered a grapefruit soda but received fruit punch instead (which I wouldn't recommend). I had also ordered a Mexican Coke for my boyfriend, which never arrived. I usually dislike leaving negative reviews and have never done so before, but now I have to order something else and end up paying for two dinners. On a positive note, if you're looking for a good brownie, their brownie is excellent."

"Absolutely the worst nachos I have ever had, and I've had movie theater nachos! Just no flavor at all. It was a chore just to eat them but, as much as they charge, I felt compelled to eat them. So I trudged through, hating every bite more and more. These were the Fire on the Mountain nachos, which have jalapenos, guac, queso, sour cream, ground beef, salsa, and cilantro... so you would think it would have some flavor. Even the jalapenos and cilantro were so blah! And I could barely find any ground beef. Also, when I was at the counter ordering, the woman was serving up portions so stingily I couldn't believe it. A huge pile of chips and she basically drizzled a little queso on it. I just stared at her and asked, Really But I don't know if she understood, so I asked her if that is really all the cheese she was going to put on it. She just stared at me blankly. I told her to put more cheese on it and of course my receipt later had a charge for extra cheese. So she barely put any cheese on NACHOS, then when I get her to put some more on SHE CHARGED ME MORE! She did the same thing with the sour cream barely drizzled it on like she owns the place and is losing money! It's been a long time since I ate somewhere and felt like I had completely just wasted my money and time, but congratulations Salsa Fresca in Yorktown you did it!"
