"We tried the Maharaja salt lassi, but it was a bit too salty for our taste buds. If you’ve never had it before, it tastes like a very salty cucumber yogurt. We felt a little embarrassed to mention it, but they graciously switched it to the Shahi sweet lassi, which was delicious!
The service was incredibly quick and professional. We ordered the Mutton Marag soup, which was spicy and delightful; the Murgh Korma, which was a bit spicy and very tasty; the Goat Makhani, which was quite spicy and delicious; the Basmati rice, perfectly cooked; the Garlic Naan, always a favorite; and the Poori, which was fun to eat as it was nice and puffy. I just wish we had saved room for dessert!
After we finished eating, they packaged our leftovers in really nice to-go containers and moved the table again so I could get out. Our host, Tarak—I hope I remembered that right—was wonderful! He shook hands with both me and my fiancé, asked if everything was okay, and wished us a happy farewell for the new year.
They even accompanied us next door to retrieve my wheelchair, which they had kept safe in a locked restaurant. Our experience absolutely exceeded our expectations! We left with smiles, feeling like part of their family. We almost went back inside for a picture with Tarak!
