"wow, this meal was a real tasty bite for a nomadic Asian couple who desires authentic Thai food. we had our fair share of fusion in chicago (restaurants with menus including thai sushi dimsum, and wanted only some of these spicy fish sauce tasted in our evening meal. silli koori has a beautiful terrace in front and while they are neighboring to some lively pubs, they are relatiw shielded in front of the street noise. we enjoyed the music we have heard and have conversed in our normal volumes. our server was very friendly and helpful when we had to ask the menu. she even brought out a candle from inside for us! we ordered the chicken wings as an app, and for the escape we got the sohn in law, crispy reissalat and the khao soi. wow, we were blown away from everything. the salat was my personal favorite with the crispy rice, packed in a fresh salad leaf to compensate for the bite of the filling. my partner dedicated to the khao soi, we usually eat our meals family style, but it was clear who enjoyed more. I also loved the khao soi, but was more in the mood for crunchy, so I nailed on some of the creamy noodles with fried pieces on top, and let them have the rest. the eggs were tasty and served with some well seasoned ground bark. we were too full to finish it during dinner and polished it to lunch the next day! if they look for something really tasteful and not only tofu pad thai for their next day, please give silli koori a try. we were transported back in our month in chiang mai for the course of our meal. it really did our weekend. we were just as happy when we had fallen in alinea in the night before."

"We have eaten here more than a handful of times due to the fact that our kids love buffets, but due to our last visit this will surely be the last time. Food is poorly stocked, you will never see a whole new tray come out. Only maybe half of a tray poured into the same dirty tray that has been sitting out. Sushi area is never full and you should question how long it’s been sitting there. The dining area, floor, and bathroom have never been maintained to any exceptional standard every time we’ve been here. Service is inconsistent. I have found the women to be the most helpful of them all, but the men are another story. We didn’t get drinks until about a half hour in, one of our kids asked for a lemonade which he proceeded to tell her they didn’t have (even though she’s gotten lemonade before) and magically appeared with a lemonade a half hour later. Dishes were not picked up frequently enough from the table despite not being a full house. Then he failed to ask the kids their ages and charged them both as adults (they’re 9 and 11 and have always been charged as such). While ringing us out he had the audacity to ask where the tip was and if I left it on the table. You provided a terrible service, an unexceptional dining experience, and overcharged our kids. You made your money, you are not entitled to the tip you haven’t earned if you cannot even get to the basics. I hope the extra few dollars you made off of us was worth it because our business is now spent elsewhere. The only plus side of this place was the price, but it is not enough to outweigh all of the other cons."
