"I was visiting relatives and decided to treat everyone to Salvatore’s. This place came so highly reviewed, I thought we had to try it. We ordered around 6:30 and the wait to pick up was 50 minutes. Super long, but I thought it surely would be worth the wait.We arrived at scheduled pickup time and called up for curbside. We were told “I’ll grab your order and be right out.” 15 minutes later, I decided to go in just to see if I could grab it myself and head out since we had hungry family members waiting. Someone saw me and checked on the order and told me they’re running behind, but it would be about 5-10 more minutes and he would bring it to our car. Another 15 minutes later, my boyfriend heads back in to see what the deal is. He sees our 2 pizzas just sitting on the counter...getting cold. They finally give him our 3rd pizza and we leave after 40 minutes of waiting.When we get back to our place, which is not even 10 minutes away, the pizza was cold. I paid $70 for a 16 inch and 2 10inch pizzas. I mean if you’re going to charge those kinds of premium prices for pizza, then the least you can do is keep the pizza warm for carry out customers, whom you don’t seem to prioritize at all. I should not have to microwave fresh pizza after a <10 minute drive. Really disappointed and frustrated by that entire experience."
