"The atmosphere at Home Team is good, lots of people, long bar, but we were still able to hear each other. We ordered the platter and added slices brisket. It said it fed 3, but it could easily feed 5. It’s a good value. The platter looked amazing and the sides were server in large bowl. We found all of the meat to be too dry and lacking in flavor. It looked like a thick layer of dry rub but no kick. The wings had an unusual brown sugar coating that was interesting, not bad but the wings were just too dry. The ribs were dry and lacking flavor. The pulled pork had a very strong pork flavor, which I do not care for. The turkey was moist but had zero taste or smoky flavor. The brisket was ok, dry except for a bite with fat which was tasty. But none of it had a smoky flavor. The only star was the sausage, it was delicious. It was the only juicy meat and it had a good flavor and the perfect amount of cheese. For sides we got coleslaw, beans and mac-and-cheese. The coleslaw was kind of bland, the beans and mac-and-cheese was creamy and delicious with a unique flavor. The staff was really nice but the BBQ did not pass the test."
