"Going to a seafood restaurant in Maui, we expected to see lots of local fare on the menu, but there was almost none. Settled on swordfish, which was very good, but way overpriced. Water and bus service great, but our server was awful... unfamiliar with the menu, didn't get drinks refilled until almost finished with dinner (they were empty when we were served). Our appetizers, soup and main courses all arrived at the same time. Overall we felt totally fleeced when the bill came. Never again."

"I'm a local who has been here dozens of times over the last decade. For the longest time, this was the only true steakhouse-experience in Central Oregon. I used to love the food but, these days, I find the food underwhelming for the price. The selection is uninteresting, and the food tends to lean toward the bland. However, the staff is excellent and, if you're OK with a loud echo-y atmosphere, have the money to spend, it's still a decent spot to get dinner."

"After searching high and low for a restaurant that ticked all the boxes, we finally struck gold at Brickhouse. The experience was fantastic, from the attentive service to the mouthwatering dishes. We kicked things off with two appetizers, both absolute standouts. The prawns amaretto were a flavor explosion: juicy prawns perfectly complemented by the sweet and nutty pistachios and honey topping on a creamy polenta base. The prime meatballs were equally impressive hearty and satisfying, served with melt in your mouth cheesy bread. Speaking of bread, the house made option was phenomenal, warm and fresh. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious bottle of Owen Roe Yakima Red 2020 Red Bordeaux Blend that paired beautifully with the food. If you 're looking for a restaurant that delivers excellence on both the food and service fronts, Brickhouse is a must try!"

"I really don’t write too many reviews unless something special prompts me to, Wally’s chowder house however, made me sit and think about it, and I had to write one. I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Wally’s Chowder House! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Shaun, was amazing—super attentive and friendly. He made sure we had everything we needed and then some. The food was perfect, a solid 10/10, fresh, and full of flavor. The drinks were just as great, also a 10/10. But the real highlight was the service. Shaun went above and beyond, delivering a service that was easily a 15/10. I couldn’t be happier with our visit. Highly recommend Wally’s Chowder House for an unforgettable dining experience! It’s literally my new favorite place and a destination to come to when I come to the west side. It truly made me and my husband’s rare date night special. Thank you!"

"It's one of those 1 in every 20 restaurant experiences. There are still places like this, but they are far and few between. Super cool twenties decor, but what really takes the cake here is the quality and flavor of the amazing amazing amazing food. I mean holy cow their clam chowder is amongst the top 3 I've ever tried in the United States, the truffle oil French fries almost made me cancel my trip, the shaved prime rib Philly was to die for and even the burger was more like something you would get at the Ritz Carlton not The Dalles Oregon. Someone in the kitchen really knows how to cook. It will be the ONLY restaurant I eat at everytime I travel to Montana. Wish I wasn't in a hurry to get back on the road because I can't wait to try their dessert on my next pass through. Staff was also very knowledgeable on the menu items. "the room was nice with high ceiling, exposed brick, a large comfortable bed and was very clean. the owner checked with us about text and was super friendly. there is a completely automatic check-in process that is easy to follow, which is great for social distancing. this hotel is located in the middle of the city of port townsend. we woke up every morning and went out the door and 1 minute to the right for big coffee and 3 minutes to the left for baked. we will return customers safely!"
