"Cute Place, Good Service, Okay Food The Cherry Hut, in business since 1922. A fun little place in Beulah MI across from the Crystal Lake. As you might guess, everything is cherry at The Cherry Hut. I had a burger and onion rings. Both were okay but not something to smack your mama about. My son had a club and chips on sourdough bread. This was really good and it was a good size. The fetching Mrs. Rat had the pot roast sandwich on sourdough bread with Havarti cheese. This was fantastic! The meat alone was at least an inch and a half thick. It was tender and melted in your mouth. The cherry pie was good, but I have had better in other places. Our server, Riley was on the ball and very friendly. Not a bad place to stop for a bite to eat. The choices in the Platte River area are limited and The Cherry Hut fills a niche."
