"This was our go to sandwich shop from late 1980s to about ten years ago. It was a gem with great food, atmosphere, and service. After a long pause because we live out of town, we returned recently for a little nostalgic lunch and left disappointed. The atmosphere hasn’t changed and the service was fine, however, the food quality has suffered significantly. We both ate only the sandwich filling because the bread was nothing like the original. We ate the meat, cheese, and veggies only because we didn’t want to leave hungry. The salad bar also has suffered but was edible. For nearly $40 for a small sandwich, salad and drinks for two, we were very disappointed."
